I can literally braid three and four piece braids, frontwards and backwards, with my eyes closed. If anyone wants to make a whip, and can do everything else, I'd be totally happy to do the braiding! I would have to learn the specific braid, but I'm a quick study when it comes to braiding. ^-^.
    Edit: you pay shipping.
Edit 2: leather needs to be pre-cut!

Demesne Brooks yes, yes it is. I can do other braids, and I know macrame, AND I've recently taught myself to knit with my eyes closed. I just didn't know how relevant the rest of that was to braiding leather lace onto the base of a whip.

To thread your all-thread into the block, put two nuts on it, snugged up together. Then turn the outside one clockwise. It will bind against the inside nut and drive the all-thread like a bolt. Then you won't mar the threads with pliers. ;-)

Cool whip making... like the lace cutter tool. One point of advice when screwing in the All Thread to keep from mangling the thread (when it counts): use two threaded nuts jam-locked together somewhere on shaft so a wrench can easily turn the bolt without damaging the thread.

heres the thing... the new overview that they are doing where they show what they are making, and how they are making it... its cool, but i dont really think its that great... it dosent remind me of the old TKOR... just my personal opinion though...

Quick tip. If you don't want to mess up the threads on the allthread you can screw two nuts on the end and tighten them against each other. You can then grip the nuts to tighten the thread and not the threads.

My recommendation for threading into wood, if u don't have a thread cutter:
Grind at an angle the first 3/4 inch slots in 3 points around the circumference through the threads, making it so the all-thread can cut its own threads into the wood.
Then jam 2 nuts together near the top, and use a closed wrench to crank it into the wood, this way you don't damage the threads on the all-thread.

Tip for spinning in the threaded rod without scarring the threads... put 2 nuts tightened up against each other to use as a grip for your tool
