Wow! At first, I wasn’t going to watch this whole video, but Dang! You guys did an awesome job on everything and being a fellow MN I needed to support your efforts! Great job on documenting all these repairs and upgrades!!! ❤🎉😊
I’m not sure about the specific Mobil filter you bought, but other Mobil filters I have looked at, state right on the box that they are 99% efficient at 30 microns. The best protection from particulate that causes engine wear is a filter rated at 99% at 20 microns. Amsoil, Royal Purple and Fram ultra synthetic are three that are rated at 20 microns. They will also remove most particulate down to 10 microns, which is the range that causes the most damage.
That’s good info. What are the microns on a fleet farm oil filter for a 2004 mini cooper? Curious because I need to do an oil change. I also need to do one on my 2007 Chevy impala and I don’t want to injure my engine. Thanks in advance
Yall swaying around like youre coaching peewee football on the black pearl w Captain Sparrow is making me nauseous 😂 but great job on the restomodding!!
I JUST picked up a wrecked 2003 C5Z in torch red with almost exactly the same damage. Mine needs s bit of rear tub work which will be interesting... Thanks for the helpful video on the rear quarter panel and lighting upgrades, gives me a lot of ideas/direction on where to go with my project.
@@PerformanceOnWheels At the expense of your synchros? Tremec website says directly not to use synthetic. It’s on their FAQ page. Not trying to be an ass. They sell their own fluid that’s rated for higher temps if you’re beating on it.
should show more of the tail lights as im waiting to make a decision between halos and burgers, i know the v3 u can switch between burger, circle, line... but also between red, clear and smoked. im guessing this is smoked. I have everything smoked laser except the tails
1.5 inch! There pretty big, however with heavy auto cross, drag racing & very long road trips with checking the torque every oil change I’ve had no issues
@@PerformanceOnWheels , what I find most telling, is that you described the car as being from a one-owner and completely stock with minor alterations. Why would they have changed the wheels? Because that's how they ordered it ¿`_
Amazing what you have done not just for you but for the car as well. Very useful content will watch again later to make some notes. Cheers 👍🇬🇧
Glad you liked it! Thank you for taking the time to comment that was very kind of you!

Cool video. Nice job putting that thing back together. Looks great.
Thank you!

@@dequavis8771 I looked up the fleet farm but didn’t find any store brand, so I couldn’t say. The filters I listed before are 20 micron, thanks.
In my opinion, anything that has Fram on it, I don't use it. Junk!
What a transformation on the c5z. I, myself am in the market for the same car. I'd love to have a modded one. Best of luck with your adventures! ✌️👍
Looks great, good job!
Thank you! Have a great video coming out tomorrow on this car!!! First of the year!

You guys did a great job on this rebuild.
Thanks Alex! A lot of work went into it!!!

Of course! Glad it was helpful! Can’t wait to see what you do with yours!!
Lol the big orange sticker on the trans says dextron lll ATF and then you put synthetic in it. Oh well. Sick build
Correct, what I put in it is rated much higher for when you drive the car hard according to everything I’ve read. Thank you!

We will have some clips soon of red and smoked!
Nice build man! What size hub centric spacer did you use for the rear wheels?

I felt like I was watching QVC...lol
I have no idea what that is

About the wheels - they are optional Chrome Z06 Wheels and they are OEM ¿`_
Only optional on the 2004 model year. Mine is an 02. Wheels had no GM or ALOCA or SPEED LINE stamps anywhere on them
@@PerformanceOnWheels... show me where that's written in writing ¿`_
It is stamped in the back of the wheels between the spokes.
@@PerformanceOnWheels show me written proof that they were only available on the 2004 ZO6 ¿`_
