    I took delivery of a CT2025 with the backhoe. I wasn't home when they delivered it so your video taught me how to remove the unit. Thank you! Now I need to know which hoses to connect back so I can use my 3 point hitch. You left that part out of the video. I gotta tell you, so far I've used the backhoe as much as my front loader. I love it.

    Thanks for the Video. I'm dealing with this same issue right now. Ordered this bobcat unit in January. finally showed up a few weeks ago and they don't seem to know how to install the backhoe. They say they are fighting with the pins. Your video makes it look simple. Thanks again.

      Hi guys, I installed my backhoe yesterday and I think that the problem the dealers are having is that the holes on the rear bracket may not always align properly. I had to machine the 2 holes on the bottom of the bracket out .050” for clearance I also had to open up a hole on one of the small brackets

    Super important and you didn't mention it. Connect the red and yellow hydraulic lines together otherwise you will damage your system. I specifically asked and the dealer also told me to just dust cap it. I realized immediately when the machine sounded weird. Pulled the backhoe manual and it says to connect the two so hydraulic fluid can keep circulating.

    • @tonykimbrell3254
      @tonykimbrell3254  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I forgot about it on this video but on the next one it is shown. Connecting the red and yellow enables the 3pt but unconnected will not damage anything because the flow isn’t active unless you try and move your 3pt at which point it will not move .because it’s not being diverted .

    • @petersnedeker3942
      @petersnedeker3942 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tonykimbrell3254 that's interesting I didn't know that. What made me check was I started my machine and I heard squeeling. Shut it off checked the manual made the connection and the noise went away. Figured it needed circulating. I know other machines it's mandatory to close the loop. This is my first bobcat compact.

      @@tonykimbrell3254 update to this discussion. I disconnected red yellow while machine was idling and the machine went under heavy strain and stalled. So I do believe there is circulation.

      I am planning on doing more videos , I’ve just been busy trying to get a French drain completed before it rains again . You will enjoy it , I have been very impressed with everything I’ve done so far with mine . @@tonykimbrell3254 Well I've have 1 more year before I retire. I know once I retire I can't afford anything like this tractor. But I think I'm going with the CT2040 Dig Boss. I run heavy equipment for my job hence I want HP. LOL . I also have an old Bobcat skid steer with lots of attachments. I can use them with this tractor. I have a lot of things to do with this tractor after I retire. Again thanks for video. You helped me make my decision . Good luck with the rest of your videos. I'll be watching.

    Thanks for the video. I have a few questions for you and sorry to hear about your stroke., hope you are doing well.
    When you purchased the CT2025 did it come with the subframe or did it come when you ordered the back hoe?
    I have an older CT235 (09) and was unable to get a FEL for it. So had to go the after market route.
    Just wondering if it is possible to retro / reverse engineer a means to install a BH76 on my rig. Would like to get your thoughts.

    Thanks for the video! Not much out there on the Bobcat. I got mine yesterday! I didn’t want to wait for the dealer to install the backhoe so I’m going to try to do it myself today. Not at all , check all the bolts to the subframe you can get to and then detach the backhoes and check all the others . I check mine Everytime I detach it but haven’t had any loose yet but I have seen one guys that his subframe broke due to bolts that vibrated out from the subframe .

    Hey Tony- im considering your setup. Im also looking at kioti tlb. Did you compare the two tractors. I like The bh setup on the bobcat better. I think the kioti loader may lift more. Thanks for the video of the bh.

    • @tonykimbrell3254
      @tonykimbrell3254  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Which kioti are you looking at ? It’s my understanding that the 2610 is the compatible tractor . I didn’t mention in video but the biggest deciding factor on my decision was the break out force on the backhoe bucket curl at I believe around 3200 plus lbs vs the competition at around 2300 lbs . I had to break som big roots digging a French drain that actually surprise me when I dug it . I will post a future video when it dries out and I can finish the drain which also has more large roots to break .

    • @vtdrive129
      @vtdrive129 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tonykimbrell3254 yes 2610 and corresponding loader and hoe. The kioti has some pretty high specs, but it has supports that run under the tractor and eat ground clearance. Love to see more vids of your setup.

      @@vtdrive129 that’s subframe that tan under the tractor which also takes up floor space when detaching the backhoe is what steered me toward the bobcat . It may not be an issue for some but it just seemed too much for me to store indoors in my shop . I will do a video soon showing complete detach of backhoe and show space it takes up and put a link to the kioti backhoe detached and maybe some pics of the kioti detached backhoe as well.

    I just received my CT2025 and a BH76 uninstalled. Subframe instructions where included, but not the hydraulic. Dealer is slow to respond because COVID in our area has people working from home. The manual for the backhoe is also still to arrive. Could you show some video or pictures of the 3 hoses, the route going forward on the tractor, and where they connect. It would be greatly appreciated so I can hook up and test the backhoe functions.
