    Sick! I've always wondered how to achieve this type of glitchy high pitched IDM sounds without giving it much thought. Your tutorial comes in just at the right time. Thanks a ton mate !

    Thank you for the raw authenticity into the creative process. I prefer this style over the polished packaged that sets wrong expectations and instead highlights the importance discovery

    • @eptiar
      @eptiar  วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Damn thank you! That means a lot. I always get nervous that they're too messy but I always think that, as you mention, the polished stuff in my opinion can be deceiving (Not maliciously though!) and also I think the messy stuff can be fun to watch! Anyway, I'm banging on now. Thank you! Haha!

    Operator is my favourite fm synth. Unique

    • @eptiar
      @eptiar  วันที่ผ่านมา

      I love it. As you may be able to tell! FM8 is phenomenal too...But I do love how quick and easy Operator can be. Emphasis on "can". It 100% is whatever you make it to be!

      I don't know how anyone would pick a software synth over a hardware synth, I can only imagine it's a lack of experience with proper good quality instruments. The immediacy is gone with any plugin and the sound quality & originality is questionable at best.

    • @eptiar
      @eptiar  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hmm I definitely see what you mean. I use hardware as well as software so I see the pros and cons of both. To be honest, I think it's the same as digital VS analogue. I think they can both be so different that it's good to embrace their differences. Like, I love my analogue gear, digital hardware and all the rest but I love things like pigments or operator just as much. You know? With picking between hardware or software, if Operator was a hardware synth and software synth, I don't think I'd necessarily pick one over the other. It'd just be about how quickly I wanted to get an idea down as I usually sketch with soft synths and then finalise with hardware (If needed) but a lot of the time I don't need to haha
      That's just my view anyway!

    Hello idk if I'm being dumb - in the chord part of this video how are you making the clips of each chord play one after another? I'm missing something. Sick video

    • @eptiar
      @eptiar  5 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Not dumb at all! I should've mentioned that I always have two midi controllers hooked up. A Novation Launchpad Pro MK3 and an Akai APC Mini MK2! They're amazing. However, if you don't have those, Ableton's follow actions could do just about the same thing. Especially if you use them to their full extent. There are some great videos out there about follow actions
