I think it was a year later, Johnnie Walker and John Brzenk would go at it again, and Brzenk would defeat him for the first time in his career. After that, Brzenk would never lose to Walker again. Ever. And Brzenk would go on a record-breaking 20-year winning streak in what we call "super matches" today.

@Weghweh Hwewehwhe John's hand is probably one of the strongest in the history of the sport. I've heard a lot of guys talk about just how unbelievably strong John's hand is when they grip up with him and how it's almost impossible to toproll through is hand. The man is really just a once in a lifetime arm wrestling talent. All the steroids and weight lifting in the world can't give you that unearthly hand strength. It's something more than just a strong grip.

    • @attractiveglass

    • @maxxxmodelz4061

@@attractiveglass Yep. I think some of John's freakish strength came from when he broke his forearm as a teenager while armwrestling his father's friend. He claims it healed even stronger than it was before it broke, and the bone density in that arm was several orders thicker than it had been around the area of the break, according to doctors. I remember an old interview with him talking about that.

In fact, this was only a couple years away from John Brzenk's unprecedented 20-year long winning streak in what we call "super matches" today.
