I think you were pretty much, fair, although I would stay there again. Its in a perfect position, near to the beach and strip, the pool is great, breakfast, erm not so great, but i've had worse. But considering the price, I think its good value.

never lie your tooth brush down like you have in this vlog, i always get glass from cupboard and stand in that or use the spare toilet roll to stand the tooth brush in

I didn't feel too strongly about it tbh, just looked untidy lol
Just got back, stayed with several friends, and we loved the Metaxa. Hotel owner was lovely, daughter is a typical teenager, not interested, but still nice once you got to know her. breakfast is a typical greek style breakfast, but a good english one can be got up the strip. Overall i'd stay again. and yes, its a two star, do not expect luxury.
I do feel on reflection we may have treated the metaxa a little harsh, especially after we stayed in another "2star" hotel down the road which we also reviewed
Loved the video, just back from Metaxa bit harsh on the critique as it is typically Greek. By the way they've sorted out the kids playground by taking away the swings.
We have another 2* hotel review coming up, and after filming it I'd have to say I agree, maybe I was too harsh
im at the Ikaros in september, from 17th for week. are you there then or have you done one of this hotel

We have stayed in costas which is like this. Very bland and basic.
But stayed in dennys inn. Roseland just by metaxa. Golden sun and maralen. They was all bloody gorgeous. But in my eyes i know the room needs to be ok but your not there for the room. Only to shower and sleep.
Yea it's just somewhere to sleep and shower for us, that's why weren't too fussed, not everyone else will be the same, it's a hotel that was very much fit for our purpose in the end

Yea happy days mate. Some greek hotels are basic fair play. Who cares when u got the area and island to explore. Its a dream place to be
Never had to pay for a fridge in Greece it looks very basic and the breakfast didn't look good
We thought it was a bit strange to pay for the fridge tbh. And the breakfast wasn't great, same basic stuff every day
£1300 not good
There's certainly better prices at better hotels, looking forward to trying a few 👍🏻
Sorry,but I think the room is terrible,that sink was disgusting..
There's a worse hotel than this one coming soon, makes the metaxa look like a Palace lol
