Plot Summary
At 17, Mike O'Donnell had it all-he was the star player on his high school basketball team, a top candidate for a college scholarship, and dating his soulmate, Scarlett. But on the night of his big game, Scarlett reveals she’s pregnant. Faced with a life-altering decision, Mike chooses to leave the game and marry her.
Years later, their marriage falls apart as Mike becomes consumed with regret over the life he left behind. After losing his job and being thrown out by Scarlett, he finds solace at his old high school. While reflecting on his past, a mysterious janitor asks if he wishes to be 17 again-and Mike says yes.
