A lot of people think the credit goes to Trump but it really isn’t. It was good timing in terms of whats going on within North Korea(beneficial for them to open) and the current South Korean President who is from political party thats pro-north Korea. For decades, south korea had presidents from the opposite party which made it even difficult for the two to communicate.
