I’ve been watching tons of vendor POV content lately and you guys are my favorite. Your wife is the sweetest!! I love that you educate anyone who needs help and are so kind with the kids! Keep up the great work!
I've been waiting for this video to come out. It was so nice meeting you and your wife. Thank you for gifting my kids' cards they were so happy. Hope you enjoy the squirtle time magazine. Keep doing what you're doing. We really enjoy the content.
We don't bring around a UV light to verify slabs if that's what you're asking. After submitting slabs for a while now, you tend to get a feel of what looks legit and ones that may raise an eyebrow. If something doesn't feel right, we usually trust our gut feeling. Extremely high ended slabs are the ones to worry about, so we will typically do more research on those slabs if we come across them. In general we don't usually buy slabs at that high of a level since liquidity isn't as great in comparison to low and mid ended slabs.
In general, we don't deal much with CGC as from our experience, PSA sells best for us. While we do buy CGC slabs, we in general will not pay as high as we do when buying PSA slabs.
I'm super blessed to be in a FB group for the SF Bay Area that has someone who updates upcoming shows for the coming month(s). There are also online resources to find shows near your area such as Sports Collectors Digest. At the very least, Google can be your friend as I sometimes will check to see if there's a show near my location when we are on vacation!
crazy that ppl are selling you their stuff for 65%. people realizing how hard it is to sell junk slabs and sometimes even the high-end slabs that are too pricey for most collectors. it is hard to sell without putting in some effort or giving a discount these days.
There are a bunch of LGS that offer 50% when selling cards. Although we don't pay the highest, what we do is buy everything, and we are always buying. Combined with the lowest prices on the show floor, we like to think that there's a reason why folks buy, sell, and trade with us.
The more you buy, the more you save! Always willing to make bulk deals, its just a matter of crunching numbers and coming to an agreement for both parties!

How do you repurpose the bulk buys? I know you’re a huge eBay store, do you sell your bulk cards there instead of TCGplayer?
We have a video that details what we do with the bulk. Definitely recommend giving that video a watch!
@@IntropyDR will do! hope to see you at some CA events in the future!
what do u buy and trade at? like what percent of market?
For mid to high end, we pay 65% cash / 75% trade. For low end, we pay less than that. Bulk pricing is available upon request.
how much the event charges you for a spot?
At this event, a table was $300 and each subsequent table was a bit cheaper. For 2 tables, we paid $550.
@@IntropyDR that's not bad. Vendors told me they paid $5000 for their spot at scgcon.
