If only Bungie had let us choose to keep Sagiras or however you spell her name as a ghost voice, or yknow, actually made Peter Dinklage feel good and pay him what he asked for to voice the ghost, throwback to the early days of Destiny 1 when you have Dinklage voice telling you to run after waking the hive and not some guy that second guesses everything the guardian does
Ghost from Destiny has a sense of humor and personality. Ghost in Destiny 2 lost all personality and sense of humor he had. He's just a _shell_ of his former self now
Today I learned this is the reason why I thought the voice actor of the awoken guardian sounds so familiar to me is because it's the same voice as the character Kyon from the anime The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya!
I had so many memories on Destiny with my best friend ever. I absolutely adored it. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I got the deluxe edition of Destiny 2 at launch, £90. I played it for about 4 months but then got incredibly bored and never played again. I don’t know why, but I always loved Destiny 1 more.

Ah Destiny 1, where the story wasn't total shit, we didn't pay 100 bucks for filler content, dungeons weren't sold separately from the actual game, the guns were fun and had interesting perks, the exotics were interesting and either unique or clearly part of a set which made em amazing, the best characters weren't killed off to become character development for someone else or shelved, the emo kid wasn't our runner up for the hunter vanguard role after he gets over his seriously fucked up family issues where he got manipulated like a dog every time he turned around. Characters like Ghost, Zavala, Ikora, The Guardian, Eris, Toland, Oryx, Savathun, Xivu Arath, Sloan, all of the cabal, all of the taken, all of the hive, all of the fallen, Banshee, the tower itself, Everyone inside of the tower, that random dude dave who was on nessus for no reason, every single planet, everyone in the game, all actually had a personality and were interesting characters. We didn't have seasonal content, we didnt have to buy an expansion and 4 seasons just to lose all the seasonal shit we payed for on the next expansion, we didnt have to lose the old game because the developers didn't want to just develop and release a new game. PVP had more maps and actually thrived, Gambit wasnt a thing that existed and then got abandoned, and man i only played during taken king but i miss D1.
This ghost reminds me of little brother who talks a lot and does nothing except lay on the couch to sleep. Down to earth. I wished that i had known him before he turned into one of these tin cans
This Guardian looks pretty good but I shudder to think of how they'd be butchered by the new looks in Destiny 2 ever since Beyond Light came out. Dunno why they had to go and mess with how our Guardians look when we don't even get to change our appearance.

It used to do that in destiny 2 as well but as we got more ghost shells without the usual moving parts it was removed

At least the dialogue in D1 was way better than D2. Been replaying D1 and honestly D2 could use some of the old things from it.
