- Please subscribe for more! The total cost to make this is about $200-$250! It can travel at a speed of 40MPH and there's no license required since after all it's a "pedal bike". You start the motor by pedaling and you get 100 miles of distance on a full tank! It takes about 6-8 hours to build the "first one", then it takes about 4 hours with experience. You can also flip these at $400 a piece!

Thank you, first video that shows keeping all original gear and hand controls.
I have the same bicycle, I mounted my 80cc jet bicycle engine on it. its a really nice ride, it catches the eyes of senior people and other motorized bicycle riders.
here are some advice: the rim and their spokes will brake continuously, the mudguards wont last long either. you have to replace the rims for other ones a bit more wide with thicker spokes.
No joke. I had the EXACT same bike. EXACT build. I can't believe it. Just finished it yesterday. I was able to hook up both parts of the tank. But bro. TWINZIES. I don't really have mechanical skills but i was able to do it. Nice work man. Liked and subbed. Still can't believe we have the EXACT same bike
Rex Gaming atleast up to 30-35 mph, careful cuz my motor is kinda faulty gotta fix it because I have no compression in it. Haven't gotten around to fixing it but I will soon. Ride safe man
Did you re-torque the head bolts after riding a few mins? You also need to adjust the chain,as it Will stretch.Re-tighten Everything after 2 or 3 runs of no more than a 1/2 hr.each.Really!Done that, been there.Allot of the covers and connecting bolts/screws needed a slight twist.Happy Trails.
You should put a dual action brake lever for it. So both the front and the rear brakes are on one lever. That goes on the right side and then you only have the clutch on the left.
check for the arrow direction on the fuel filter. Nice bike
1:33 you forgot to replace the washer and the lock washer on your idler. really helps with the vibration backing off bolts even if you are using a thread locker like loctite, and you don't want that thing tilting into your wheel while you are riding. should also use a washer on the idler wheel's bolt.
My plan is to get a bike like that when I get my taxes in a few weeks n now after seeing that video🙂🙂🙂 I’m more excited n stoked about getting it lol
Ditch the third lever and get a duel brake lever on the right side. NT carb and stock muffler on trash. its also only 66cc unless you pay a Mechanic to bore out the cylinder and put a bigger piston in. I have mine on the same bike.
Damn I love your modifications !!!.I have a Kent Seachange looking to do some modifying myself !!
I just ordered a motor kit and this same bike, but mine is grey, thanx for the info it was very helpful!!!
Please post more bike kit videos. These are very helpful tutorials.
Would this work on the single speed version of this exact bike?
I built a 49cc on this model. Kent bayside Walmart. I'm 250 lbs. I bent the rear axle... If you use this model and you intend for an adult male you may need to get a more durable rear axle and/or put a single speed freewheel cog on the rear wheel in place of the stock freewheel and shorten the chain. 😁
I got one for my birthday pretty recently and I knew I was gonna get it, so when I took it out of the box I was happy than I saw the bolt that attaches to the exhaust pipe was bent at a 45 degree angle and the other was straight so I gotta wait another 2 weeks to get a new one
I dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know a way to get back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb lost the login password. I love any tricks you can give me.
@Allan Junior instablaster :)
@Braylon Judson I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Braylon Judson it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my ass :D
@Allan Junior Glad I could help =)
they are fun to build. i my dad and brother all have one and we ride together its a lot of fun. keep up the positive videos there's too many negative ones out there. have fun and ride safe
Put zip ties on your fenders so that if the mounting plate break (which it will due to vibration) the zip ties will stop it falling into the wheel. You probably won't even notice the bracket breaks because if you do the zip ties up nice and tight, it won't matter. If you don't the front one can fall into the front wheel and pitch you over the bars.
yeah get those finders off i had one on the back break lose ,going about 35 went under tire
About to go buy one for my seeutek 80cc kit.
thanks this was great. im building this exact same bike. i found this to be very informative.
Do u use only petrol or mixture of oil with petrol if you use oil with petrol what amount of oil do you mix with the petrol
Hope you answer my question
Thanks
Most bikes with this setup go about 25 to 30 MPH. What is the difference that makes yours go 40MPH? Thanks !
robert freeman My weight! lmao Just kidding... I really dont know, I live in flat land and I over inflated my tires.
mayiandjay Thanks !
you need to make a bracket for the rear of the tank. only using the front causes a ton of vibration and the studs will break and cause a leak.
kjsmolik I attached mine using silicone. 400 miles later still on there with no movement.
Nice build
i don't think you'll reply but does this still work? i'm thinking about doing the same thing with the same bike but i've heard it's shit and the wheels bend. have you had any issues with it?
My brother has it now and stills works great. The chain tensioner keeps moving causing the chain to come lose but we already took care of it. Keep the right mix of oil and gas and the motor will do well.
Thanks for the reply! This is very helpful.
mine wont idle any help? starts up perfectly fine but when i adjust the idle it either goes forward on its own or shuts off
How easy it to adjust the back brakes cuz twice in one month..my chain has falling off my motor so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong
This is awesome Jay, really viable form of transportation in a small town or just a fun way to get around. I might have to build one of these if time permits, great video as always!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
How can you find those clutch that is on that bike…I’m still learning how to use my clutch
Hey that's really cool I also built one in the summer but in October cops came to my house and took it away I I also coul have got close too $5000 worth of charges and some jail time but my dad talked them out of it cuz I was 16 at the time and I built it myself in my backyard. Guys if your reading this make sure you check your local laws on these!! Also if you wanna add some more power remove the black cap off the carb to get more air in the engine and use higher octane gas and you will notice a huge increase in power I also had mine straight piped and man did that thing go, I hit speeds of 80km/h (I'm 135lbs)
Mike Mackin bro I live in Canada, (Toronto Ontario) these things arnt street legal here why would I lie about mine getting taken away by the cops if it didn't actually happen? Look up the laws if you don't believe me for Toronto bro and your lucky you can ride them in the USA, I wish I still had mine
Double up and cut to size a old intertube and slide it between motor mounts and frame less vibration easy and free
It sure reminds me of those bikes from the early 1900s. Back then you really had to pedal it for the motor to start.
Hahaha, do you participate on my giveaways?
I'd like to lol. And yes, the early bikes such as those 1900s models by Harley-Davidson took quite some effort in part of the user to start.
Oh and can you check out the video on my channel about a Galaxy S7 clone I bought a month ago? I'd like to upload a ROM dump of it someday but I'm not sure if it's working.
I built a 29 inch beach cruiser and I gave it a front disc brake and the engine would drip unburnt fuel from the exhaust so I made a air filter from old school PCV for a older model car that goes on the valve cover by removing the rubber grommet and putting two holes one on each side of the air filter Then glueing the filter to the metal base just around each hole so dust can't get in the carburetor and that stopped the problem Of having any unburnt fuel from collecting in the exhaust pipe it allows the carburetor to take the correct amount of air nessesary for the amount of fuel your giving it cause the stock filter constricted the the carburator from taking the nessesary amount of air too completely burn all the fuel
I picked up one second hand that wasn't in running order and built by someone who didn't do much of anything right. I wish I could find the actual instructions somewhere. I already broke the tensioner and ordered a spring loaded one. I wish I could have the original parts and pieces and build it from scratch. That's essentially what I'm gonna wind up doing anyways.
Here if it is gas and goes over 20 something , you must ride on road and have a licsen. Oregon
Fantastic video!
Liked and shared on twitter and facebook! As always!
My son has same bike and installing motor now but having trouble with chain staying on when it is moving. Any suggestions???
I got that same bike!!!! Hell ya :)
Matthew Tortorelli saaame, #BaysideRIDERS
Does it really matter if I have a chain guard on mine
Try a diuble brake lever thar way hou can combine your brakes and try running a bolt threw the tentioner pully by the rear sproket. That way it doesnt go into the spokes or upgrade to spring loaded one also cbc hy adapter, way better!
I was told that I can add a suspension for my beach cruiser which is what I’m gonna do once I get everything
Do people sales these bikes built like this?
How do you stop with the bike brakes
If you haven’t done so already I suggest ditching the sprocket part of the kit and get a sprocket adaptor that fits your hub that makes the sprocket 100% true and doesn’t put stress on your spokes cause instead of how the original sprocket attaches to the tire it adaptor bolts 2 parts around your hub instead than bolts your sprocket to that slid it in or out to Aline it than bolt it tight.
Where can you get rubberized mounts at
So true , a great way to be entertained
What was the cost for the whole kit?
Hey buddy I got the same bike but I would put the clutch underneath your break stopping is more important and for your vibration take an old inner tube from a bicycle and cut you off some pieces and wrap it around the frame and then put your motor back on it should fix the vibrations
And I think you got your fuel filter upside down buddy I could be mistaken but the way it looks it looks like it's upside down if you go to my videos I got a bunch of things for that bike
Isnt that the 2 cycle? They tend to be more shaky than the 4 cycle. Still, nice job! You made it look easy! Thanks
I just finished installing it but can't get it running. Not getting fuel into chamber from intake. any advice?
These kits should come with a headlight that runs off the engine.
will the throttle work on the left hand side
This looks so fun to build. I will make one lol.
Trust me it is! Just to know it works after all that works, makes you soo happy!
mayiandjay please update the motor link. Thank your 😊
that sound nice is it durable
Super cool wow and it's max speed is 40 not bad
You must have the tires very well inflated to 35psi. Also to gain this speed safely, add 8oz of 2cycle oil for a full tank.
Nice bike man! Keep up the great work!
Cool bike am gonna buy myself one
Loooking for an "O-Ring /Gasket " for the fuel tank "Gas Cap". Any help out there? Would be much appreciated.
I used the same bike but had to chop the rear drops so the tire/wheel could be removed without deflating it.
Stock 80cc engine gets the bike to 30mph on level ground.
does 10w 40w motor oil goes in the spark plug hole when pour it?
im all in on bikes been building since 08 but my question is what software are u using to load this video and or edit it. preety cool
How hard was it to install, and how long did it take you install the motor kit, did u have to do any modifications
Honestly it was mostly a plug and play. The hardest part is the sprocket of the rear rim. Getting it balanced and aligned is a pain. It took me 5 days to make it
@@MJTechChannel wow
Try to use tempered bolts. Metric w 8.8 on top of bolt American hardware grade 5 w 3 lines top of bolt . Use blue loctite on threads so the nut n bolts will not ever loosen.
use american stanard and spray pait all the bolts you get the same will not ever loosen
I think you should move your shifter to the other side. If possible.
Eric McGinnis c
why did you have to drill a hole on the bars for again? do the screws go threw it?
sabrom There is a pin on the assembly of the throttle so that its stays in place. Without drilling the hole it won't stay in place.
mayiandjay Got cha i see how it works thanks! :)
how are the brakes? and also the overall quality of this bike?
Do you need the wide U bolt to mount the engine?
What happens if the bike revs so high when I let the clutch out ? End up having to shut down with the kill switch.
probably an intake side air leak
Is this actually 40MPH. It seems more like 40km/h
I got this same bike. The hubs were way too tight and not enough grease in the head set or bottom bracket. So when you buy a bike from walmart, make sure you go through it.
Or assemble yourself.
I have a bike already so this will be very cost effective!
You DO need a licence if it goes over 20mph, and you have to be at least 16 years old to operate, check local regulation they also if you are under the 20mph requirement they may require a SMV sign on the rear and flashers.
no you do not ,,,,,there is no restriction in texas its a bike if you can pedel it !!!!
probably the coolest bike ive seen
Build one yourself, don't be so salty dude
How many miles do you get on those engines last year Amazon had one advertised and it got like 89 miles to a gallon
60 mpg
Are these legal in California?
nice bike and who knows I might make one someday or can I have yours just asking :)
did you have to shorten your chain?
fuel filter is backwards
maybe at first but it clogs way quicker if it's backwards like that
The filters usually have an arrow on them to show you which way the gas should flow. If there is an arrow, there is a right way and a wrong way.
Almost Every one of these videos I watch they put the fuel filter on backwards and I don't know for sure if it really effects the performance or anything but when u put it on right you can see any dirt or debris in the filter
Yup
The arrow is pointing to the engine.
That the bike I want to do a build on too. It look real good.
Both links are not available 😫
Cool bike..😀
What is the rear hub diameter,
You are a genious very good job, will share and like
You can get the second tank bracket on there with a little swearing
Did you say that you can’t start the motor until you reach 5 miles?
Still wonder is this bike is legal in NY, cuz I saw 2 of these
How much do you get out of the gas tank
you need a spring chain thing that plastic thing wont last its way to close to back wheel
i bought the same bike and kit, but the petals wont clear the exhaust, how did you clear it? thanks
Adam Sean You can move it a little with your hands after the installation.
Adam Sean OnfrankstonOnfrankstonhhu
I really enjoy your Videos! Keep up that Great work
got the same bike, its awesome!
where did you the kit
Fuel filter was backwards my friend. Good luck.
What motor kit is this?
Is it the same if you buy 80cc engine for bicycle from wish but its cheaper at wish (does it go as fast as this walmart engine?)
same chines factory ,same motor
@@curtisthibodeaux7990 okay thanks
how many horsepowers?
is there any reason why my pedals continue to move in motion causing me to have to ride with my legs spread which is very uncomfortable. HELP PLEASE!
+chichi love what kind of bike? a single speed you always pedal even when there was no engine?
Its a single speed bike with coaster brake. my problem is that once i start the engine and hit the throttle the peddle on the bike rapidly rotates to the speed of the bike which makes it impossible to keep my feet pn the peddles. Shouldnt the peddle be at a stand still anyway?
What size it the bike?
Oh yes you do have to have a listants, cool looking bikes though
I cant find any kits on ebay directly from China. Maybe I'm searching incorrectly. Anyone have a link to an ad or site from China. I live overseas and only China ships stuff for cheap.
How much money total did this cost you?
Andrew Ellis Around $280
@@MJTechChannel nice. Ima build one soon
. Thanks for the cool idea:)
How many miles can it do on a full tank
