I am assuming the pvc pipe coming out of the rock beside the pit is a breather for the pit itself....is that correct. If so, how do you keep the hole from getting hot inside.
The PVC pipe coming out of the vertical stone is a hidden drain. That vertical stone was designed as a planter box. The PVC drain allows the water to flow through the rock and into the ground where it was buried in crush stone pit beneath the stone.

What 2-3 inch top coat?
what concrete is used?
The heat doesn't affect the styrofoam?
Erikmemoleija after the 6" of concrete cures the styrofoam is no longer significant to structure.
Are your clients supposed to breathe that as it cooks? Why not make with wood and metal lathe?
What type concrete did you use?
Not practical concrete explodes when under heat one of those great ideas at the time lol
ideas man the concrete mix has fire clay in it.

Construction supply houses sell block foam 4’ X 4’ X 8’ for around $350 a piece
