- Hey friends - Welcome back to the channel for another week of building out my side SaaS: Bench Box!
In the last video I stepped back from hand-jamming code and got back to designing... but oof.. I think I stepped to far back!
In this week we start making some good progress and I dive into the (in my honest opinion) the #1 DEVELOPER TRAP we all face & how I got through it.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the video! ❤️

Hey, friends!
Just wanted to pop in here & ask what are yall are working on?!👊🏼🙌🏼
LEGEND - Just started watching your videos, gives me a lot of inspiration
Thomas! I appreciate you so much & that’s exactly what I’m hoping folks take away. IDK anything about this react native world to be totally honest, but together we’ll get through it one step at a time!!💯💯❤️🙌🏼
Just found your channel a few days ago. I am in a SaaS building at the moment and it is great to see someone struggling and continuously thinking. Keep it up🙌
So glad to have you here with us!! Definitely no lack of struggles here😂 all real - all raw - and continued progress is what I’ll continue to show every week!🙌🏼🙌🏼👊🏼
What’re you building???👀
Awesome vid, I agree we do get stuck in over analysis, but like you said pick something and move on. I found myself doing the same in my product. Subscribed!!!
Heck yeah! Stick and move, stick and move!😂🙌🏼 what’re you building???
@@_andrewpeacockIn short, I'm building an app that connects people with like minded fitness goals together. Ultimately creating a community of fit beasts!!
That’s incredible - there’s something to be said about like minded individuals doing some awesome stuff with community❤️🙌🏼
yes, perfectionism is such a productivity killer. I had to learn that bitterly too ;-)
Any other tips you can give back to the people???👀🙌🏼
@@_andrewpeacock to build a startup company is a marathon not a sprint. You have to take care of yourself if you want to work on your idea day after day. Give yourself enough breaks and take time for yourself. and the most important point: love what you do.❤ Otherwise you won't finish this journey.
Love this!🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Let’s gooo!!! From the UK
Appreciate you Yonnick!! What’re you building right now?!❤️💯🙌🏼
@_andrewpeacock I’m working on a mobile app project at moment, react native expo
Let’s gooooooooo
Just trying to be like you when I grow up😂🙌🏼🙌🏼
Nice chilled vlog, mate! Grind grind grinddd lets gooo 🚀🔥
Thanks man!! Let’s keep building!!
Great video! I also was stuck in a rut this week with the landing page of my future application. I appreciate your insight and advice you gave me over IG. Here’s to a productive next week!
Let’s gooooo!!!
So stoked to see your next round of progress!👏🏼💯
Problems we've all had! I like using many small commits for my work 🧘 makes it easier to work on things in little nibbles.
I also work on personal projects with PRs against main, so I can work on several features at once in small steps if it makes sense to.
Onward! Keep up the good work.
Facts! I used to think having a dev & main branch on side projects was a must. Then I realized it was totally overkill and a ton of a time waste 😂🙌🏼 small commits also helps in case you need to roll backwards!👊🏼
Appreciate the support & stoked to see your videos drop!
Also: Analysis and spinning your wheels sometimes are a natural part of the process. Don't be too hard on yourself... But don't get stuck in a rut either! 🎉
Great video and amazing progress!🎉
I appreciate you!!👏🏼🙌🏼 are you a dev too?👀👀
@@_andrewpeacock Yes! I am just starting my dev journey and will be building my own SaaS in the near future 🙂🤭
Keep us posted on your progress and if anyone in the community can help answer questions!🙌🏼👊🏼👊🏼
@@_andrewpeacock Will do and thank you!💛☺️
Brooo is grinding lets goo
Appreciate you!🙌🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Could you please tell what all tech stack are you using? Sorry if I sound dumb I am not a developer
Not dumb at all!
This is a React Native application using expo, gluestack UI, realm, MongoDB, and Supabase
