as a villager main the best tip i could give new players is to play lloyd until you get an idea of how they deal with it, if they jump use fair to regain stage control if they sheild it run up grab. People don’t mix up there options too much and you can get some crazy value, also upair is so underrated triple turnip is broken
One thing to note when you pocket banana and gyro. You have to “refresh” the pocket every 20 seconds or so or it will disappear and then can use it again. Just take the item out and pocket it again.
As someone who uses villager as a main, and Isabelle secondary, Villager is better. The only time that Isabelle is better is Vs characters with really solid reflectors

Villiager is underrated
Neutral b is my favourite form of reflector in the game. Super unique and makes for some cool clips
