Thank you for a very raw and honest episode. You touched in so many underlying themes of competitive endurance sports. Sometimes we struggle to channel addictive behavior traits into positive directions!
Thanks for making your videos; I’m sure this channel will grow if you keep making them. Keep up the excellent work. I’ve got a similar story when it comes to drinking and eating junk food myself into feeling terrible (let alone looking terrible) to the point where I had to make a change last November and start running again. I’m spending all year training for my first 50k in October. For me, the training process itself is the reason; it’s a great way to spend time in nature. Currently averaging 50-mile weeks.
Ive often posted on FB that my ultra races are the Celebration of all my training, a preformance of months, years of me living. Gritty on and off the trail. The race is merely showcasing my endurance, resultion, preserverance and resilience in life. Run on, brother!
Great video! I'm def the same, every race I am cursing myself and saying I'm never doing this again...within 24-72 hours I'm ready to sign up for the next challenge to push myself.
Id love to see/hear about your "Rucks" i see on strava. They seem so interesting, motivating, and intimidating. Love all your videos and i try to watch every single one. Keep doing ehat you are doing, you are my main youtuber for motivation and i resonate with you. Love the channel and keep on keeping on
There's no shaming in this episode. IF YOU SEE MUCH MORE RELATE to what was said. Then THATS THE FLAT OUT TRUTH. It's your choice to do something to improve yourself. That's why people nowadays are just so weak. .. BOTTOMLINE, its all life choices that define what and who you are at the end of the day.
