Yes, absolutely tell the casting director about this so that they can work with you. Remember that the CD is on your side and wants you to succeed. I've found that most CDs are VERY helpful in the audition room and do everything they can to make sure you are in a position to do your best work.

What is it that you want from them and what is your intention behind telling this story. Also, on a technical note, if you were filming this for an audition, you should raise the camera up to be about eye level.

What if I don’t have a character/script? It’s a blind audition idk what they’ll have me do.
In that case, just wear whatever you feel comfortable in. They can't expect you to read their minds.

It really depends on exactly what you are wearing and how it looks on camera. Record yourself first and see if it looks distracting to you.
