"Nautiloids" are actually a family of marine cephalopods. I think nautilus are the only remaining nautiloids still existing today.

Please don't stop having fun in your casts. I alomst always watch your videos while having my meals, and those fun do relax me a lot. You have also done a great job talking about the games. It may be confused to new comer, but for me, it is just fine.
A long time ago, you released a video explaining how to play Zerg for beginners. Id love to see another 2023 version as you’d also be able to gauge how many “new” viewers / players there are
I remember those! At least I think I do. He was getting taught the game at the time too, but I still remember him teaching the Solar 2 base roach/ravager where you could hit 200 supply super early.
Personally I love that you are not getting too technical in your videos, I have never played this game myself and I love it when you speak about the sea monster and stuff like this while giving some insights on the game too. If you were speaking only about the timings, buildings etc, I would have not watched. So you are doing just perfect bro!

Lowko, the use case for the activated cloak would be offensive as you're launching an attack to break your opponent's targetting. It's a near guaranteed loss of the mama, but if youre doing a ton of splash, could be the balance breaker.

The game is old. 13 years. Just that alone means it's difficult to attract new views. However, some of us really miss this game. Thanks for keeping it alive. Seeing a professional do this is great way to reminisce. My favourite way to win as a protoss vs zerg, was overlord hunting Corsairs (Bw) or/ and DT's. Because I love Karate Kid. If a man can't see/supply, he can't fight.

I will never understand why pros still try to make DT openers work. Both Zerg and Terran almost always have detection ready by the time the DT's make it across the map.

I mean, I can see why less protoss pros exist currently. They've been underpowered for most of the life cycle of this game. This game, at the top level, is basically a 2-race game.

How do players know what structure is building? [besides the gridsize]?
You can click on your opponent's structures to see. Most of them are slightly different (even the Protoss structures) if you look very closely. A Pylon/Cannon/Battery look ever so slightly different while building.

Can you go over the dance probes do when harassing the zerg's mineral line in the early game? Also why do we not see this in any of the other match ups?

Also Lowko is a big part of why I finally started learning SC2 properly in 2023 (was a SC1 veteran, but only been spectating SC2 until now).

Has anyone every evaluated how much time these games would take in the real world? It’s always seemed to me that just like the difference between real scale and standard units is similar to how the time would scale. Is it 10 years? 20? 50?
Imo the biggest problem with balance right now is the skytoss supported by some spellcasters and cannons in zvp. Protoss can just sit behind cannons and then a move their carriers+tempest+stalkers+templars+immortals. If zerg sits back with lurkers then protoss will just snipe lurkers down with tempest + hallucinated phoenix combo. If zerg want to move some spellcaster in range to cast spell then it can be immediatly killed by high templar abillities. So zerg can just wait till the end of its game. Especially in lower leagues. Im not saying that 2 or 3 top level zerg cannot win vs protoss. I just say that this race (protoss) is highly imbalanced in zvt bronze-silver-gold-diamond-master- and lower GM lategame. There should be some game changes which make zerg more playable in late game and also give protoss some tools which can be done to deal with zerg lategame armies with good control which Serral and Dark have. So the 2 goals should be realized together: make lower leagues zerg games more favourable, and make late games of higher leagues protoss more favourable. This can be done with some ballance of unit changes. Mainly debuff cannons or create zerg game opportunity which can break cannon+tempest+voidrays+carriers combo (similar to terran nuke/aka buff of swarmhost in cannon destroying). Protoss campers cannot be punished right now in lower leagues. Hydralisk is an option but it is risky for zerg if protoss do right amount of cannons then they will be protected from hydra attacks, and lategame is then inavitable. Hydra buff can be good in zerg ballance, mainly hydralisk should outrange cannons somehow. So cannons should be vurnable to hydra attacks and not vurnable to roach or lings attack. That would solve problems of many lower league zergs.

As far as I understand: When you turn a drone into an extractor, it does not count as supply, so you have 14/15 supply; then you can queue up an overlord much earlier than usual, and cancel the extractor (which gives your drone back).
Someone might be able to explain it better. But that's as far as I can understand 😅

I'm certainly no SC2 player but I think you're close. If you're at 15/15 and start an extractor, you drop to 14/15. Once your next drone is out and you're back to 15/15, you cancel the extractor and have an extra drone: 16/15!@@Yamez226 @blueeye1415
Zerg vs. Protoss at the Platinum or Diamond level says very little about the matchup at the premier tournament level. At the tournament level, Protoss is unfavored vs. Zerg, but to a far lesser degree than they are unfavored vs. Terran.
