I just purchased a FG60R3 and started it for thecfisrt time. I run 15:1 oil as instructions suggested but noticed that cylinder 1 gets hot and 2 and 3 just warm. Any suggestions ??

@@1bizjets run it on 20 - 1 and u will need to upgrade the prop hub and intake to prevent the bottom cylinders from flooding

Wow... almost sounds like it is detonating... 50 degrees timing advance? What's up with that Saito? Your next video of this engine at 30 degrees timing sounds and runs much better. Nice mod.

there are 2 mod kits for the FG60-R3..how do I know which one do I need? I got he first series of the 60cc before Saito learned about the chamber issue.

M Zg Hi you would need the 2 mod intake and magnet ring / hub

Hi is it saito 60r3 with original intake manifold doesn't run very well. ? I was thinking only fg84 got intake problem. I'm thinking up grade engine in my plane but should I order in same time new modified manifold for fg60r3? Can't wait for answer. Thanks

szpachla666 yes all of the Saito R3 engines needs intake modification and the FG-19, FG-33 R3, FG-60 R3 and FG-84/90 R3 we would recommend checking the timing as well. Just get in touch send as a email and we will help you from there on
