My guess with the powder problem for some people would be that they do it wrong. For example, using the whole scoop (including the funnel bit) for like 16 oz of water. What could make it even worse is if you use that much for 12 oz (as the tubs do say to use 12 to 16 oz per scoop). Also, I could just see bad mixing habits. Like pouring all that stuff in a shaker, giving it one gentle swish/shake and then going to drink it. Personally, I haven't had a powder issue. I use 16.9 oz worth of cold water from the fridge, a scoop to the first "line" (ie, not the funnel bit) and then just shake in a normal shaker cup for 30 seconds and it turns out fine, every time. I don't even do anything "fancy" like refrigerate it after mixing or add ice or whatever. Literally just half a liter worth of chilled water, one normal scoop of powder and shake for a bit. It should be that simple lol

This is basic chemistry. A powder will always dissolve better in hot water than it will in cold water. This is why coffee is made with hot water. This is how the cans are made at the factory, it's mixed and carbonated warm, shipped warm and doesn't get cold until it's put into the coolers at the store. I heat the water first in a measuring cup, put the powder in then mix then transfer it to my shaker cup filled with ice then shake the mess out of it while it cools down, perfectly mixed G-fuel every time
I got gfuel single use packs back at Pax unplugged and used them in a normal water bottle cold or room temp and they were not powdery at all, similar to like a kool-aid or crystal lite. But since buying tubs even with shaker cup, even under filling the scoop and shaking for what seems like ever it comes out chalky and always settles at the bottom. Guess I'll try the hot water trick, it makes perfect sense. I wonder if they changed their formula in the past few years or between the packs and tubs. EDIT: just tried this method and its like night and day. Hot water and rapid cool with ice makes it like 100x more enjoyable.
One major thing I would do differently is rather than popping the top when you release pressure, unscrew the entire cover otherwise you're going to have tiny droplets of GFuel spray out when you open it through the top. If you do it by unscrewing it instead, the pressure isn't all condensed into one area of escape, so it is less pressurized. Good video though, I'll be making my GFuel this way from now on!

PSA: The reason the warm water disolves the powder MUCH better (if you use exactly one scoop, and scoop without the cone ontop) is because when water is heated, the atoms and molecules in the liquid, so the hydrogen, and oxygen molecules, rub together MUCH faster, which is what actually creates that heat. and common knowledge is that when things move quicker, powder, or things will disolve quicker and more thurough.
i think another issue with using very hot water, is that it could destroy some of the vitamins in the gfuel, which could potentially ruin some of it's effect. i think people should experiment with using more water and/or less powder first, unless they are 100% set on just getting the best texture possible. the only issue i have when i make gfuel is all the extra powder at the bottom. maybe gfuel themselves could try to improve the powder formula to fix this in the future.
Jesus Christ as a first time GFUEL buyer I did not expect it to be so strong (I used the Packets). Will 100% need to be iced to cooled before drinking, I prefer Room Temp water most of the time but it was just SO strong with Room Temp and I thought it was just strong in general however thankfully I thought to add ice cubes in it to see how it faired and it was better for sure!!
i've just got G-fuel. had a starter kit so i used the small 1 serving bags. in the beginning it was fine but in the bottom it was very powdery. it did end up standing for a few hours before emptying. so maybe it was standing for too long or i didn't mix enough. i used neither hot nor ice cold water but regular room temperature ish water. i'll try and take different methods under advicement note to you the pressure from hot water is water turning steam(gas) as that takes more space creating pressure(the thing that makes microwaving closed bottles/cans a bad idea)
I just like to let it sit for 20 minutes, pour into a jug slowly leaving the bit at the bottom left, rinse it out and pour it back in, trust me it definitely works 👌😁

What I do is fill the cup with ice like 1/4 of the way up the cup then pour the powder right on the ice. Maybe if you're ambitious wait like 2 mins, but after I do that I just start filling the water up into the cup from my dispenser and move the cup in a circular motion so that the water starts to mix while it's filling. Once to the top I put the lid on it and shake for 30 seconds and then taste. If it's too light i'll add more water through the cap. And that powder poured on the ice will allow it to dispense itself as the ice melts. So you are getting powder to continually add to your water/gfuel mixture over time so that it doesn't settle at the bottom.
I tried this and it's way better than before. I drank GFUEL before a few times and didn't really like it too much, because it was too chalky even with half a scoop and a big shaker and I usually only drink carbonated drinks which doesn't really work with GFUEL because the powder just removes 100% of carbonation but with this method it tastes like an icetea with GFUEL flavor.

boiling water is under 100c aka 220f (around that i dont use american measures) and that cup is a hard plastic, kinda similar to pla which can survive till 200c (400f or smth like that)
I just followed the process compared to cold water gfuel it tastes a little bit thicker BUT a lot smoother. The powder was fully dissolved instead of just floating in the water
if people get powder in their gfuel then they probs either put too much powder in or just not enough shaking , I’ve never really had an issue with powder I get confused when people say theirs is powdery lol

I do get some powder in the bottom that settles but mostly my Gfuel taste just fine. I mix it again when I need to and it’s fine.

Honestly, I mainly drink g fuel cause it tastes good... though I am deficient in some vitamins and g fuel helps with that.
