Wow. Just wow. Jo & I have been completely blown away by everyone's response & feedback to our film - it means the world to us. I'm currently neck-deep in a follow-up film here in NYC (make sure you're subscribed! 😊 ) but we plan on making a little "Making of" behind the scenes video and maaaybe some additional footage so let us know of any thoughts or questions we may be able to answer. I am going to try my best to respond to as many comments here as I can but no promises! And again thank you so much for taking the time to stop and watch - we've got SOOOO MUCH MORE in the works! There's a whole other side to this pandemic that is constantly avoided. And those that can't be part of that beauty shown here are pushed further and further away. There is a common thread of vulnerability that is global in scope simply because there is a choice available to not see suffering. The film is beautiful, no question, but is filtered beauty still authentic? We are after all real people.
sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my account password. I would love any help you can offer me.
I'm from London, ON. Just wanted to comment on what a fantastic and tasteful video this is. From the editing, music selection and individual shots! Well done. :)
This is my London, my neighbourhood with all its window hearts, the trails where I run, the parks where we hold our festivals, and The Flame of Hope, where 100 years ago Banting had the idea that now saves my life every single day. thank you for this.
I live in London Ontario where this was filmed. I am astounded at the stark realness of this film. So too am I hopeful for all the souls that were not shown here except for a brief glimpse of a fallen tree with clothes hanging to dry. This was the residence of an unknown homeless person. There is more to tell about the Forest City and my home.
OMG Just read about the "sequel".....watched it.............but only after watching the original again for the ****th time....but....almost a year later. WOW.....so much more emotions watching this almost a year later....in our current situation...flashbacking to our naivety a year ago. Unfortunately your original is still - almost more - relevant today. And then there's the sequel teaser. As the original, it totally hits the nail with the hope that we are in right now to reclaim the life that we have been grieving and have most certainly taken for granted. Your vision and execution is phenomenal, is emotion educing and incredibly appreciated.
It’s true that you never know what you have until it’s gone. I forgot how beautiful London is and how rich in culture and history it is. Stay strong Londoners!

I don't think it's a coincidence that I was sent this video today. This past Sunday was the 4th anniversary of my leaving London (after 40+ years) to move to Vancouver Island. Thank you for an amazing video. You have touched this old heart.

Thank you for this !!! I also live in London Ontario and feel this is an especially well done video !!! You have captured moments of time in history that we can all look back at and reflect upon. I can say that I recognize the majority of locations that you have included in the making of this film. My niece is also a front line worker ( as is Stepien who is featured in this video) at one of the hospitals here in London and works in the Emergency Dept. She says she doesn't feel like a hero but I tell her that without them we would be in a much serious situation, than we are in now. The article written in CTV news today captures hope and warms my heart! My mom goes out every single night and bangs the pots and pans to thank the front line workers, even if they can't hear it from where she lives. I am also, as I am sure that many others feel grateful and thankful to all the frontline and essential workers who face this on a daily bases! They keep us safe, at their own risks. Again thank you for making this video about my hometown that I have lived in for the majority of my life.
