- I will show you how the Ancient Ruins Dungeon is run, how we prepared and what we brought to kill the Boss in order to get the Portal and the Respawn Tablet for the NPCs.

To use the Basic Portal you need to defeat the Ape Boss first.

@@Alberto-fb1xs Yep. in your mask interface on the very top the line should show the portal unlock on the third position
Little tip: Some dungeon walls got "cracks" in it. means you can destroy that walls. There are some hidden rooms behind it ;)

Mostly there are chests behind but some have a nice Tablet to read which give you 3 tech points, totally worth checking out
I recommend hammer or gauntlets for all the mechanical mobs
The dungeon bosses are so boring. They could halve their health and that would be fine.
Once you have a good NPC to run the dungeon it's a quick thing. We did the whole dungeon in 10 mins yesterday, bronze gear
@@TiiaPlaysStuff We have been playing as a co-op duo. We didn't realise the corrosive pots should be used.
@@NeonXXP Oh yea without those you tickle the enemies at best. Also keep some for later as there are dungeons with mechanical bosses but without a source of corrosion tanks

careful the dungeon floors are finicky try to fight on flat areas of the dungeon. I fell down through the floor and fell in water. Can easily walk out but becareful!
Hello, a little question regarding the portals - do you need to have a bonfire near to build it (I know about the decay, but we play with it turned off currently)? It's a bit of a bummer, since you can have only 7 bonfires per tribe :(
Thats a good question. I never tried it without a bonfire. I will check later.
@@TiiaPlaysStuff I've checked - you must have a bonfire built to build the portal, however you don't need a bonfire to use it, so you can pop a bonfire, build portal, dismantle the bonfire and still have the portal running :D

Another great video! I am embarrassed to say that after a couple of hours, I haven't found a path to the ruins. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Any tips on how to find the ruins?
The entrance is through a cave. To get to the cave you approach from the shore (not the top of the huge cliff, I made that mistake the first time xD). It is kind of where the symbol is, but it‘s a bit hidden. You best hug the wall of the cliffs and scan the area. If you see (copper) ores in the wall, you know you are getting close.
Be careful though: the cave is filled with plunderers and in my opinion they are harder to deal with than anything in the actual dungeon

Is it possible to do this dungeon several times and take out several portals for different bases? Or do they only give you the portal pieces once?
Yes you can absolutely repeat it as much as you want. You only need to wait for the respawn timer to finish. Usually its like 30 mins at most.
If you use blunt weapons, Hammer or fists it does a good amount more damage and made things easier for me.

Where did you find the portal piece 2? I'm having trouble. That dungeon only dropped 1 & 3

Проще всего проходить такие подземелья держа рядом листок бумаги и ручку, туда можно заходить много раз и нарисованный маршрут с деталями и нужным лутом, гораздо упростит следующие походы)

im lvl40 but they are like 22-25 and still kick my ass sometimes... like why :P

the mechanic enemies was pretty easy but the humans before that, so quess level dosn´t matter
@@wannabiemuuki I guess you use hammer or gauntlets? Each enemy is weak to certain things.
