Commander Ponds and Captain Keeli deserved better, I wanted to see more of each one. Although Keeli’s last stand is one of the best final stands in the Clone Wars. Commander Thorn had the best one.

For me, it isnt exactly about who took out the most or emotional weight, Keeli’s last stand is just much more memorable to me. It made me wish for more Keeli. Actually, both Keeli and Ima-Gun Di were characters I wanted to see more of, but sadly they were fodder lol

Keeli had the best one because his last stand was vital to the success of the Ryloth relief mission while Thorn's, while awesome looking, ended up having no larger effect.

Thorn and Gregor. Gregor might have been amnesiac and later crazy, but his capabilities shown at enabling D squads escape was nothing short of epic. He knew his job and was able to maneuver D squad out of the battle area. Thorn and his men fought to the last to try and protect Padme. His death was badass.

If Fives was an officer (I don't know what his rank was after becoming an ARC) he's should have been on this list.

Really surprised Arc Captain Fordo didn’t make this list, he was a very efficient squad commander and had a great ability to react and adapt to his situation very quickly. My personal favorite clone.
Fordo was an One Man Army like all Alpha ARCs! :D
But he was one of the best Alphas. But Dave Filoni don't like Fordo and the Alpha ARCs....

I want to see what happened to Wolfe in Bad Batch. How did he avoid order 66? Was it his injury? Was he angered by what happened to Plo? Did Rex save him?
I totally agree. Wolfe didn’t kill his Normally assigned Jedi general, Plo Koon. Further, he normally served with the very capable Admiral Coburn. What happened to both Wolfe and Coburn? Ultimately Wolfe removes his chip, which did seem to have affected him at Order 66, and joins Rex and Gregor. I can only imagine Coburn was purged. I’d like to see how it all went down in Bad Batch though.
Since we know Rex is gonna be on the show, now I really want them to show how Rex released his friends from their chips. Like we know that Gregor is under7th Sky Corps which is Cody's organization. Then Rex might try to release Cody even thend Cody may have refused to join due to the fact that he is very logical, and a well known commander unlike Bad Batch and Empire will surely pressure Cody more than they could Bad Batch. Then Rex could have released Gregor. And Cody stays with the Empire because there is basically nowhere else to go except being fugitives.
Rex can also ask help from Bad Batch to save Wolffe and his Wolfpack. Maybe all the wolfpack will be saved because Filoni is really fond of 'em. And maybe some of them will die escaping. Maybe they will all go seperate ways in order not to raise too much suspicion. At least that's what I'd do to honor.
Also please bring back Fordo if you can Filoni.
We know rex went to the deserted clones planet before he vanished, so we can assume he was alone so it must be a short time after order 66 otherwise the code to travel would make it impossible for him to get to other planets to save wolfe

For example: chips, transition to empire, clone to storm trooper transition, rebellion formation, civilian oversight, credits conversion etc.
Commander Cody: not the fastest, not the coolest, but will last past 300,000 miles
Commander Ponds' death actually made me so sad as a kid. It was so unfair and unfortunate. I really liked Ponds.
But as the sentence on his helmet says "some guys get all the luck"
I suppose the best kind of clone officer is one who won't shoot you in the back.
When the prequels first came out, I really liked the clones simply because of how cool they looked. And now, thanks to Clone Wars, Rebels and various novels and comics, they're probably my favorite thing about Star Wars.
Cody was a Clone Marshal Commander, not just a Commander. He was in charge of the 7th Sky Corps along with Jedi High General Kenobi (although Kenobi's rank of Jedi High General may have been wiped away with all the continuity changes). He would personally take command of the 212th Attack Battalion during combat operations.
That's right. Everyone thinks that I'm just a commander of the 212th but that's so wrong I'M THE MARSHAL COMMANDER OF THE 7TH SKYCORPS. And everyone thinks orange clones are automatically 212 th clones but the 7th skycorps is the orange unit and the 212th is the sub unit. you're a guy who really has knowledge u should be honored
Commander Bly should’ve been here. Though he wasn’t on the big screens much, he was a loving commander and he cared about his troops too

@@snege from a non-emotional standpoint, purely in the eyes of Fox and the law, Fives was a criminal after attempting to assassinate Palpatine and had basically kidnapped a general and captain of the GAR, and then aimed a lethal firearm at Fox.

I find it interesting when Anakin wanted to see Ahsoka when she was framed Fox denied Anakin and also had his guards ready to forcibly remove him then after Order 66 Vader was at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant fighting Jocasta Nu the librarian Fox thought Vader was a Jedi and ordered his men to kill him. When Vader boarded the transport asking about it Vader then force choked and killed Fox. I always wondered if it was only because of his order to mistakenly kill Vader or he remembered what Fox did during the time Ahsoka was framed for the temple bombing.
Where is it? Was it in the last season of clone wars? I mean force choking Fox

Both, he was a dick for not letting Anakin see Ahsoka even if he was on orders not too, other clones would have most likely let him through just from sheer respect for him and his relationship with Ahsoka. Most would have also let him from the reputation Anakin has with a temper. And his attack in vader was just damn stupid. It's a seven foot tall cyborg with giant fucking red lightsaber, most clones would have backed off.

Commander Wolf did execute order 66 but later removed his inhabitor chip, that is one reason he was afraid of canan in Rebels and alarmed the empire.
They should’ve made Ponds into the “Rex” of the series since he’s the only commander besides Cody we’ve seen in the films. It wouldnve been cool to know Rex was there from the beginning and actually had screen time

Ahsoka was the commander of the 501st so rex was capped at captain

@@natenotgreat he wasn't. in season 7 when Ahsoka comes back, Anakin says that he'll promote rex to commander and have Ahsoka be his adviser for the invasion on mandalore meaning that even after Ahsoka left he was still a captain.

That’s never been a thing in cannon content ever. No clone ever shows a dislike for Fox, not even Rex at most Rex just disagreed with Fox when he thought Ashoka was a killer.
All other clones were either completely cool with him or respectful to him as a commander.
He was one of the most decorated, and respected clones in the clone army he was given arguably the most critical command roles a clone could possibly hold in the entire galaxy.

Btw, *what happened with the clone troopers who saw Anakin's burned body on Mustafar?* Palpatine wanted Anakin to be the face for his new empire and as he sensed that his apprentice was in trouble, he went to Mustafar to save him, probably still not knowing to which extend Anakin was injured and that he can't fulfill his role as the empire's "hero" anymore. So the guards who went with Palpatine probably knew Anakin was on their side, especially since he was with other clones from the 501st during operation nightfall
I would say, Palpatine either killed them or told them he died during medical procedure. The 501st was probably just told the same, Anakin Skywalker was dead.

Commander Wolffe, Boost, Sinker, and comet survive the incident. Although wolffe boost and sinker are the only ones shown to survive along Plo Koon, comet is an established clone trooper of the wolf pack before the malevolence incident (within comic canon)

Clone Commander Cody is my favorite of them all. You can not ask for a better trooper to be by your side, or leave in command. I also really love the 212th, the battalion Cody was in charge of.

Wait, you say Commander Bacara and Ki Adi Mundi had conflicting ideologies because of Mundi's Jedi training, but Mundi was also pretty ruthless and hyper-efficient, which is why they were so good together.

Commander Gree would have been another good one to have on this list. Especially with how he resisted the temptation to leave the republic with the other traitor in the episode where they had captured Nute Gunray.

Fordo even though he’s considered legends now? Boss or more widely known as Delta 38 was also really efficient and a badass. It's a shame we never got to see him more in the Clone Wars.

He wasn’t that significant, doom was cool but he really didn’t do much in cannon to be considered one of the best.

Commander gree is pretty good officer he was from the 41st elite corps who imo has some of the best looking armor but some cool stories he has also served as commander for several generals including illuminara unduli and yoda himself. He was also killed by yoda himself.
I think it's pretty cool that Cody was friends with the Bad Batch and supported them and other expiremental clone forces

Seriously though, they should do a star wars clone wars campaign game where the tutorial is on Kamino as a training course and then after that you get to choose which legion you join, between maybe the 501st, 212th, 104th, and the 41st Elite Corps. You could also be able to pick between several different nicknames and you would have a set clone number (cc-3189). The campaign could be from the start of the Clone Wars to Order 66 and your goal is to work your way up to being an Arc Trooper and then eventually a Commander and you can customize your own army in the Grand Army of The Republic. Before the tutorial on Kamino you could customize hair, face, tattoos, and armor markings.
Cody was Best Star Wars character because He my favorite characters, He was Awesome and most Heroes Have ever seen, He was one most important character to me.

Yeah fox was an incompetent idiot. He let separatists droids get into the power plant and turn off coruscants power, was unable to take out a Jedi librarian during order 66 and was tricked into making his troops fire on lord vader.
