  • The little SJ’s first proper run, and it runs beautifully.
There is plenty of low end control with the new transmission and electronics, with great throttle feedback allowing for very intricate driving.
The two speed transmission now allows this little C74 to have a very good top end and will easily keep up with a walking pace when out on the trails.
It will however need a bit of weight in the front as once the battery is installed (partially because it is a fat 3s lipo) this little SJ tends to frequently lift the front tyres off the ground.

Well done mate definitely an improvement over stock. 1 thing i noticed and thought hmmmm was you left the springs in the shocks. Pull em out i reckon 😊

The problem is the leaf spring for early batch is too soft. Even if you bend it it will go back to normal again. The best setup for now is using 4 link suspension. The new blue c74 is improving the leaf spring hardness

@@Latimerias_trailncrawl interesting 🤔 I didn't realise the blue 1 had some changes. I've been playing with helpers and blocks under the axle to get ride height. Considering going 4 link too

Does it not have suspension? Or just super hard?

The suspension does in fact exist, however it is very stiff.
It will get better once the springs break in fully however I may also remove the plastic helper springs to soften everything up and that the body is not very heavy.
