its his sensitivity and conscious that made it hard for him to let people down. His soul is good man I hope theirs a rock n roll in heaven.Everytime I relapsed I let so many down.Only to numb the pain again. To the point I was dead inside felt nothing.
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Memphis Alvaro i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
These were the best recording with the whole band giving it their all! This guy thought he was gonna put a tipsy Shannon on point...I think he totally proved him wrong! Love this version ❤️ just awesome
I like watching the band dynamics on this one. Christopher just nonchalantly strumming a few chords watching what's going on as they get Shannon set up, Brad's guarded slightly sour look as he does the bass line in Bobby McGee, and Shannon looking over at Rogers with a "can you believe this guy" look on his face.
Amy Lynn Oh, man he was such a cool guy, and as an addict it breaks my heart knowing how badly his drug dependency spun him out of control..because once you become dependent, it's not fun anymore, you'd do anything to go back to before you ever touched drugs and make sure to keep it that way.
Dustin couldn't agree more. I am a recovering addict myself. Been clean going on ten years now, but not a day goes by that I don't credit these guys for some of my recovery and peace of mind..✌💜
That's awesome on the ten years...congrats, seriously, that is a huge accomplishment. The few times I've been really truly clean, I've gauged it by the span of time since drugs were last on my mind... Like, "Oh I just saw a scene in a movie where they were talking about drugs.. luckily I don't even care to get high anymore.. When was the last time I thought about drugs like this... was it last week? No...2 weeks ago...a month ago...no....hmmm I have no idea." I've been on methadone for about 5 years or so now, and it really is a crutch, and I really don't know if/when I will be able to live without it...I've had too many relapses to be naive...Not to sound like a neo-deadhead weirdo or anything but I really feel like I know almost exactly the kind of person Shannon Hoon was...I'm a musician myself as well, I play guitar but I don't sing nearly as well as Shannon did. I was always a huge GNR fan and just recently really got into Shannon/Blind Melon in the last few months.
Gotta get off than methadone man...The government is in control of you with that shit...It will be harder to kick than heroin because it gets deep into your bone marrow...Research that,, Watch Phil anselmos loyola interview its a real eye opener...Try kratom its a all natural herb that helps kick it or any ovoid addiction...good luck man..
Dustin look man, I can definitely relate. I spent 7 years on methadone and I have to be honest...it saved my fucking life. Yes, I'm aware it's more addictive than heroin but I get it. When you've tried numerous rehabs, outpatient facilities, detoxes, programs, jail, bootcamps, the whole NINE and you keep relapsing..methadone, when used correctly, will sure as shit get you clean. Sure, you're not technically "clean", however, you can maintain daily life..a job, family, probation whatever without the risks that come long with heroin or illegal opiate use. My advice...stick with the methadone until you are ready. ND when u do decide to kick the methadone, be prepared for a long road. Establish a supportive network. Work a program. Make sure you have your ducks aligned before getting off of it. Good luck to you, brother much love xo
whats meant by thin voice is he doesnt need alot of volume to create his tones.Which is a good thing.Chris Cornell would be a thick heavy vocal.Shannon was ultra special. Its indeed sad hes so young here. Its almost not fair.
@Resiakkk I'm guessing that the song isn't available. I've never heard it anywhere else before but who knows. It seemed like it was a personal song lol.
He was laying out the chord progression for letters from a porcupine. I just tested the melody on my guitar and sang the lyrics they match the key of Em. Em,G,D. Hum it you can clearly hear it.
"Check. Check. Check 1. Sibilance. Sibilance. Check. Check. Check 2. Sibilance. Sibilance" Nice Sound Check! It Is 0DD How many 'G00D Long Hairs he Reminds me of?..Talent? Yea! RIP Bro..
You can see the tension when Shannon walks in late. Which shannon will they see? Sad, but true, this time it was the live version, yet the pupils are dialated. As a guy who owned a recording studio, you gotta get paid up front for the tweakers.
@Da Squirrel I feel compelled to opine on this thread. Kris wrote many songs that many people recorded/covered/made famous. Out of all of the live performances (videos) I've seen him do, I don't think he would do another's version of his songs, regardless of circumstance. I never seen him try to sound like anyone else, and why would he? We know that even with his kind of tarnished, unrefined, raw delivery, he has no problem painting the audience an honest and engaging story, pushing out his poetry through tune, sounding like an old and dying wiseman sharing the last breaths from his lungs to pass on his invaluable knowledge to help you along.😂 I'm sorry. So much respect for the man.
did no one try to help him? placing his mic and chuckling at his nonsense. the band trying to find the part when it sounds like the janis version. shannon playing free. i think he would play the same in any state (of mind). do they think the drugs help his music? help them make money? let's not lose the lesson: we all have music.
Plot twist, Shannon Hoon was assassinated on the bus by overdose, because the Secret service had a hit on him , because they saw his future and he was gonna bring more light to the world than one person is aloud to.
The second he starts to sing in this one still gives me chills and brings me to tears. This man was an Angel in disguise!
You can tell that he was really self conscious about his music even know he was so so talented. This band was very organic
as a guitarist, I dont like it when people watch me practice without permission
its his sensitivity and conscious that made it hard for him to let people down. His soul is good man I hope theirs a rock n roll in heaven.Everytime I relapsed I let so many down.Only to numb the pain again. To the point I was dead inside felt nothing.
STAY STRONG!
I think some of Janis's soul leapt into Shannon Hoon. I just wish there was a recording of him doing this whole song.
He could pull it off so easily. Hell, the bass had to look to him for the changes, so they probably never even tried it together.
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a method to get back into an instagram account?
I stupidly lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Reid Harper Instablaster ;)
@Memphis Alvaro i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now.

@Memphis Alvaro it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my ass :D
he was happy right there nice to see him happy RIP
What a great job!!! 👍 R.I.P. Shannan your a beautiful man!!!
I would love to have a studio version of that song by the blind melon :)
Studio Shannon was great, but everything I hear live from the kid is pure gold.
These were the best recording with the whole band giving it their all! This guy thought he was gonna put a tipsy Shannon on point...I think he totally proved him wrong! Love this version ❤️ just awesome
First time hearing this rendition...good stuff.
When youre drunk and you have to agree😂. Love Shannon. Real one.
Just a fantastic talent

Just too fucking rad. Shannon was such a sensitive guy, u can tell...

Further cementing proof that Janis Joplin served as one of Mr. Hoon's vocal influences!
Bmanritchie It’s like he is her son. I wish there were more songs he sang of hers
Or Kris Kristofferson . . .
Yes she in fact was. He loved Janis! Shannon's Mom Nel once told me and my niece (after Shannon passed) that she was one of his biggest influences. 💜
Kris wrote the song
And Chris Cornell RIP
I literally have cold chills!
I love this thanks Mrs.Puckett for sharing!
after this song the guy says. "Wow you know your classics" :D
Iove shannon. And blind melon
I wish he recorded whatever song he was singing when that dude walked in on him. At least I didn't recognize the song.
I like Shannon it seems like he doesn't take shit
what a smile at 3:48
Omg yes I've melted. Gonna sing this song tonite
Love Shannon!! Giving the producer shit!!
Love this
I've always said that Shannon reminded me of a male version of Janis Joplin... Here's the proof
brad cant hold his eyes open!Thats funny
whats meant by thin voice is he doesnt need alot of volume to create his tones.Which is a good thing.Chris Cornell would be a thick heavy vocal.Shannon was ultra special. Its indeed sad hes so young here. Its almost not fair.
awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
✌
i fucking like this!!
shanon hated getting touched by people. I've notice he would always tap them back.
@Resiakkk I'm guessing that the song isn't available. I've never heard it anywhere else before but who knows. It seemed like it was a personal song lol.
what is he playing before being interrupted by the camara during the first seconds?
Susi Regu a guitar....
St Andrews fall
He was laying out the chord progression for letters from a porcupine. I just tested the melody on my guitar and sang the lyrics they match the key of Em. Em,G,D. Hum it you can clearly hear it.
"Check. Check. Check 1. Sibilance. Sibilance. Check. Check. Check 2. Sibilance. Sibilance"

wow. that's sad. thanks for the reply.

agreed...but Layne and Kurt, pretty much gorgeous, poet gods as well!
magdalenableu winter what about anti pop junkie they are a great new band
We're here for Shannon
anyone know of any rare video that exists of Shannon in the last few days weeks of his life?
kris kristopherson wrote this not janis
emayhazing1
Very good.
Now riddle me this..
Why didn’t he sing it the same way KK & Cash sang it?
@@1031miranda he didn't sing it like Janis did either. They played it more country closer to Kris than Janis & her band played it
@Da Squirrel I feel compelled to opine on this thread. Kris wrote many songs that many people recorded/covered/made famous. I'm pretty sure he's playing "Letters from a Porcupine" in the room when he's interrupted.
sounded similar to that, really wish he wouldn't have interrupted and just recorded the audio from outside....
Wondering also what song is..
It's dutch. I can understand some of it.
Why did you go in there? Geez!
Fuck yeah, oh I have a thin voice? I’ll show u !
lsn't it funny how you can tell the difference between a typo and sheer stupidity?
What did he say?
Boddy McGee? What the ? Is it that freakin hard to spell 'Bobby'?
was he just singing to his toast??i hate when people watch me make toast as well...embarassing when it pops up!ha
translation por favor?
at 1:13 that guy says thug life
1ofyouforme I just heard that after so many times.
@fenderstratguy i like body mcgee
mushy85 😂 doesn’t everyone
Can you please get outta here? -.- xD
Aww I'll wash your pant's for you.
@fenderstratguy Great video though...I shouldn't be negative.
Was this taken off Shannons video camera? Seemed peeved at being video'd.....
A thin voice???? O_o

I feel like this was supposed to be funny but the cultural differences just made it awkward and weird.
Can you please get out of here
