- Welcome Folk's, Another day prospecting & gold panning in tyndrum has revealed some amazing geology once again! we found many black garnets in the schist bedrock & lots that are catching in the dream mat!!!

Yorkshire tea pal all day long and that dog of yours is bonkers, made me laugh with the branches.
The pieces were generally a bit bigger than the usual places you go to and they looked nice and vivid through the camera lens. Well done Lewis.

@@northernpickers I get a lot of red and pink garnets in my local river but haven’t found any big ones yet! I know they are there as I have found chunks broken from them!!!

have had lot's of garnets & a Ruby so don't see why not mate, kinda pends how big lol !!!
When i use my pump i pump out the water the best i can break up the dirt with. My rock hammer then fill with clean water and pump you can see the layers better

@@Pa.PatriotProspecting yes JT made this handle and usually has them for sale For around £15, you could make one out of a threaded D clamp and alloy c section with a bike handle grip! if you message Jt and mention me! he will do a good deal with free postage on ebay!
