Dooku actually has a second lightsaber because in his duel with Yoda, he was originally supposed to grab Anakin's lightsaber and fight Yoda with 2. It was shot but ultimately cut from the film
Thanks, Jimbo! These were nearly 18 years old at the time I filmed this video, and now it's been four more years! It's hard to think that so many of the figures in my collection are approaching 25+ years old and more. So weird... At any rate, I'm glad you enjoyed this look back with me and I appreciate you stopping by and checking out the video.
This series of action figures (along with me going to Officer Training School that summer) was the impetus for me taking a hiatus from collecting action figures for a while. With a few exceptions, none of the figures were in any kind of neutral pose, had action features you could not disguise and some of the Jedi figures had magnets in their hands to simulate using the force to pull their lightsabers to them but their hands were horrible disfigured. I'm glad Hasbro eventually moved away from this line of thinking. Wow....eight month old video showing up in my feed! :D
Yeah, Matt, I see you stumbled upon the low quality, ancient archive section of my videos! 😄 These figures were in fact very weird. They were more like posed statuettes with strange attributes than anything you could actually use or play with. And as a graduate of Army OCS myself, I know full well why you had no time to be messing around with Star Wars at that point! Thanks for stopping by and reminding me of my low quality past videos! 😄🤣
That moment when you realize you can date eras of your childhood on the color of the cardboard backs on Star Wars figures. The OG POTF Red/Orange will always be the core childhood experience for me. Christmases with those figures emerging from Christmas wrappers is just peak Star Wars Childhood. Those huge boxes for the Tie Fighter and X Wing... but I digress, the most distinct and long lasting retail memory I have is the shelves and shelves of blue card back and blue boxes for Episode II, and immediately searching for anything named Fett with Mandalorian armor, FINDING him with a dream-come-true removable helmet and missile firing jetpack, bought that sucker, and lost one of his blaster pistols taking him out of the package walking home. The packaging as time went on never left as much and an impression, and almost felt depressing and.. I dunno.. cookie cutter? Normal? Episode 3 stuff evidently went it a totally different direction, but by that time I was wasting my money on MSiA and Gunpla.
Wow, Gundam! Thank you for the comprehensive comment. It's amazing how these Star Wars action figure lines are woven into certain aspects and times of our lives for sure. I have similar experiences with the original line in 1978 and The Phantom Menace line dragging me back into collecting in 1999. Also, thank you for checking out one of my older videos! I'm surprised it popped up!
Bienvenidos, Zaturno! Thanks for stopping by. The figures is this video are pretty old... some twenty years old now. So, you won't find them at regular retail shops any longer. You can normally hunt these down at specialty toy shops, eBay and Facebook Marketplace some times. Basically, on the secondary market. When I was buying these, it was 2002 and I was getting them right as they were introduced. I bid you good hunting! Thank for checking out the video as well!
For these, Charlie, the number of the figure is on the back next to the name. When I turn them over, you can see it. It's a little blue and white circle.
If I had to guess why Lord tyrannosaurus or duku Comes with a green lightsaber it's because of his duel with anakin We had a Green and a blue I'm guessing the anakin doesn't come with a green lightsaber so you can give him a green lightsaber and a blue to react That scene from the movie
Oh, that's an excellent point, Jason! It's kind of like the Revenge of the Sith line where some of the Darth Sidious figures have green lightsabers instead of red because he was originally supposed to use Anakin's to fight Mace Windu. It makes sense now! I appreciate that. Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video!
Love this line, I'm about half way through getting the line but reached a point whereby I'm now debating display space 😅🤣 Some great figures though, I think you can really see a progression through the lines 👌
There were a lot of good figures after AOTC and ROS came out since there so many new jedi and troopers introduced! I had a blasted collecting these up. And display space? I have NONE! None of my carded figures are on display due to my helmet collection taking up all the available space. Consequently, I have all my carded figures neatly packed into plastic totes. We're moving to the northwest in a few years and building a house. I'll be able to display them then as we are planning a huge entertainment area in that house that will have plenty of room for Star Wars.
That's weird, Charlie. I wonder what's going on. Maybe they were manufactured in different parts of the world like Taiwan or China, or maybe they were meant for different markets like the old Canadian cards and tri-logo cards from back in the day. An interesting mystery to be sure. Thank you for stopping by and checking out one of my older videos, as well. I appreciate it!
I'm not sure, City Builder. This is not a comprehensive overview of the whole line, just the figures that ended up in my collection years ago. In addition, I don't collect the ships or vehicles, so I would not have had them, assuming they do exist this line. I do appreciate you stopping by and checking out one of my older videos!

Love the walk down memory lane with this line of figures. Really takes me back!

The Dooku figure has a green lightsaber cause when he cut off anakins hand anakin was wielding a blue and green lightsaber
Oh! That's a good point! I never thought of that but it makes sense now. I appreciate you checking out one of my older videos!
Why can't you see any of their numbering like what number they are in the order

For instance which one is one two three four five six seven and so on
My 26 look completely different than yours and they're both collection one

no vehicles or ships released in this line?
