The light bulb moment to the purgatory pub was the best reaction I've seen to this video 🤣 The guy behind the bar is not drinking anything and just working there, must be someone in coma or something. If not Ren explains all in a video - which is really worth watching, especially as it gives context to a new track he’s dropping this Thursday (5th) He’s lost Sick Boi forever which totally fucking sucks, however the reactor community is getting behind him and I know, as a supporter Ren’s music, you’d want the heads up that he’s getting it all off his chest in a diss track and will want to be in on the action. Listening to all your reactions again… (as you do ☺️) and realised that you have not yet covered Ren’s Kujo Beat Down… I would absolutely love your reaction to that… it is a diss to the producer that put a copyright strike on the Sick Boi video… it is absolutely savage and masterful!! The song itself is great.. but if you take some time to watch the 35min video on Ren’s channel about the Kujobeats situation the song will hit on another level… I would advise you to do that (no need to watch that on camera)… this really is a masterclass in diss theatre, and you will love it!!! Yes I know, something came up the day it came out and I wasn’t able to get to it. My upload schedule has been sporadic lately and I had to put him on the back burner for a minute. That song is a high priority though and I will have it out at some point. It will certainly be the next ren song I do. Hopefully I will get it up soon!
In the middle of the video, the people in Purgatory Pub all group up and start talking to each other; you notice they are in pairs as shown before they all are at the table talking. Ren and Webby, however, are not together and not at the table. Ultimately, Webby is alone in the bar at the end facing his sins trying to purge his soul.
Good news, Webby has released copyright claims for reactors. You may have to challenge them, but he said he would release them. He said that Ren convinced him that it was the right thing to do.
Took a while but you got there in the end :) you did miss a lot of the symbolism though...you'll probably spot it all on a 2nd watch such as the bald white guy with the nazi swastika playing pool with black guy who was wearing a KKK hanging man pendant :)
