    I'm so glad I attended this. It was somewhat random as I was visiting NYC and found this. If only I were still singing and had experienced this masterclass. I might have not retired. The singers were wonderful, especially Marissa. I was also sitting next to Kevin Puts, I realized...LOL.

    All those harmonies she let us pay attention to in Hendel… now I started to get why Beethoven adored Hendel. What a great teacher she is. Thank you so much. The pianists are superb, too! And her talk at the end… it’s just so wonderful and beautiful

    The story she tells at 2:28:30 is so incredibly moving!!!! I got tears. Brava and bravo to all our performers....they are all soo goood!! Wow.

    Marissa is almost a ready made Elettra. Her voice is amazing. She was emotional and teary and a mess and she couldn't breathe with those tears but through all of that she still did some great job.

    Love how Joyce develops Lukasz sound. But her illustration from the story is wrong. marguerite has not been killed at that point. She has given the medallion to Valentin as a keep safe!
