Sadly for many of the performances for this time, Felix (deep voice) was injured and couldn’t do the complete choreo. This group is entirely self produced by their 3racha unit and all their songs are a bop. Look at Taste (no m/v for this) to see a song written by red hair (Hyunjin), and performed by him, Felix and the other fire dancer (Lee Know).
I think you might have mistaken SKZ for some other group, because I’d never call anything they’ve done bubble gum. Just dig into them a little, though they really came into their own in 2020 with god’s menu.
Thank you, I was going to mention this. Felix (Deep Voice, angelic face) had ruptured a disc in his back and had to go through a lot of physical therapy so they modified choreography to be easy on him. I just got to see them live in Atlanta and I cannot explain to you how deep his voice hits. It was like he was vibrating my chest. Also, he's Australian ;) So is the leader, Bang Chan (has blue hair in this performance).

They definatly are not the bubble gum group. They are unique and amazing and totally different than other K pop groups. They are on other level than others. They produsing their own music. White hair gyu Felix had a back injurie so he can not dance and yes he has a deep voice but he can also hit hi notes. Red hair is Hyunjin. He is one of the best dancers on K pop. He is also amazing performer, producer, song writer, choreograf, model and painter. You should watch Studio Choom Artist of the month Hyunjin dancecover Motley crue by Post Malone. The hole group is full of amazing talentit gyus and really worth to listen

I think you really will enjoy their entire discography. They have over 150 songs that cross so many different genres and there is absolutely nothing bubblegum about them.
They're known for their experimentation and IMO are just a different level. They write and produce their own music and have from the beginning.
Try Venom, Freeze, Chill, 3Racha, and Taste to start.
I am in the over 50 group and listen to just about every genre of music, but will lean into music with R &B and hip hop vibes. I don't mind pop. I was absolutely not a kpop listener until I saw Stray Kids live last year. I CAN'T BELIEVE I SLEPT ON THEM ALL THESE YEARS.
Hoping you give them a chance. Again, with a deep discography, I truly feel you will find a better appreciation for them.
i have definitely found a new appreciateion for them. stray kids and monsta x have been two other groups aside from bts that have really impressed me in many ways and im looking forward to checking them out more in the future.

People discovering Stray Kids and then being wrecked by Felix (blonde hair) and Hyunjin (red hair) who is my bias, makes me giggle. Had so much fun watching this reaction 😁These guys are great. The choreo, the vocals, their stage presence--all top notch.
I listen to a variety of genres so I don't just listen to one style of music or one artist/band but I do have a great appreciation for a bunch of different Korean artists. If you like the vibe of this song and those deep vocals, the band Ateez has some great bridges in their songs with that style, especially Halazia. Along with BTS and Stray Kids, Ateez is one of my favourites that I listen to regularly.
SKZ are the only kpop group I stan but Ateez are creeping in! Halazia & Guerrilla are both in my kbops playlist and I'm finding myself watching wanteez and their other content now...
I originally became interested in SKZ because of Felix's voice, but I'm a Stay because of Channie. Lol.

Stray kids are self-producing group consists of eight members
White hair I'm sure you know that his name is Felix & red hairs is Hyunjin
Felix is the deep voice one, Hyunjin can go low but it was layered with Felix's deep voice too so it's a mixed tune in the second chorus
Now more about Felix, he is an Australian has a very amazing versatile voice can go extremely deep and unbelievably high too , i recommend his solo song (Deep end)
Now for the entire group i would recommend:
- God's menu (a MUST stray kids song)
- Easy
- Back door
-Thunderous
- Venom
The demon voice in the chorus and the slightly less demonic voice in the verse are _both_ Felix's real voice; he's just using it at different levels and with different flavors. The redhead (Hyunjin) is indeed singing low in the second chorus (all of them with the possible exception of one can technically hit that low, several of them well); however, Hyunjin has one of the more light, lyrical voices in the group, so Felix's voice is layered under his there to keep the depth of the sound present, as Felix is the only actual bass and thus has a different color and gravity to his voice in that range than the others do.
As others have said, Felix kept walking off because he was at the height of a back injury (herniated disc, which will be a lifelong thing for him, especially since he's a dancer, thus his ongoing maintenance/rehab). In the MV, you can see Felix dancing -- and instead Han (first rap verse, wearing a hat and has slashes in the shoulders of his jacket) is absent from most of the group dancing there, as he danced so hard during filming that he temporarily injured himself; instead they gave him solo shots on a subway car interspersed during the choruses. So while the present version of MANIAC stages includes all eight in the full choreo, nothing from the comeback period does.
Finally, someone else who knows Hyunjin isn't actually the only voice in his part, that they layered Felix underneath, I thought I was the only one and have stated that fact so many times before in reaction videos
@@cindydesjardins2454 I've seen a lot of that, yeah. I think it's mostly just an understandable result of people really wanting to think of all eight as exactly equal/identical in all performance aspects (or, occasionally, a certain set of toxic solo stans who think their one-and-only is carrying the whole group), which honestly would make them very one-dimensional and boring, combined with what I assume is a majority of the fandom being relatively untrained in/inexperienced with music beyond listening to it.
Conversely, once or twice I've seen someone claim it's _all_ Felix there, when Hyunjin's voice is obviously also present.😐
THE FELIX EFFECT IS REAL!!! 😂 Never gets old. When my kiddo first heard/saw him, she was like "who's the guy who looks like Barbie but sounds like a corpse?" Aaand now she's in love, and not just with his iconic usual deep voice. He actually has been expanding his range more often!
And yeah, I've seen some people mention the reason he was doing very little choreo was because he was injured. The injury was actually a pretty bad herniated disc in his lower back. But, at least that gave us him doing his lines and BAM walking off like a boss!

So the deep voice is From Felix (white hair) the reason why he kept leaving the screen is because at the time he had a back injury i believe so he was limited to only vocals at the time. The other deep voice is Hyunjin (red hair) and hes super talented. i didnt even know his voice was that deep until this performance. Hope that helped. Please do more Straykids videos!!! Being thoughtful in regard to their music, you obviously understand how s groups discography can be. Stray Kids are EXTREMELY diverse in their music, and cover 45+ genres in their 170+ tracks. And since they are completely self-produced, their music doesnt conform to a concept or a certain style. (FYI, Maniac is also one of their more mainstream songs. Ftheir title tracks tend to get GP attention, and thats how they got their *Noisy* title.) However, in my opinion as eell as that of countless other STAY, they keep their best songs as B-sides. In fact, some of their absolute best dont even have MVs because, well, why would they? Lol they didn't need one. That said, most of their fandom also loves 90% or more of their discography, funny thing is, we all love a slightly different 90%+. Take any given album, and any given fan... Their favorites will likely be vastly different. Thats ome of the things that is so wonderful about SKZ. Their fans are often nothing alike in taste, but with 8 minds contributing to their music, that is perfectly fine. Just let us know wht genres you enjoy, and we eil lbe HAPPY to recommend something you will love. Also, the main producing unit 3RACHA as well as the rest of the SKZ members have evolved over the years, and with them, their sound. To put it simply, they may surprise you. However, if you check out a few more and you still dont have the desire to fall down the rabbit hole. STAY will most definitely support that too. We just appreciate whenever anyone gives them the same chance we hope that would give any artist. 🖤

Thanks for your reaction. I just couldn’t help laughing, Felix really is something else, and Hyunjin is very beautiful too. If you watch the mv you’ll see that Felix does dance more in that. I think that later they adapted the dance to accommodate Felix’ back injury, hence him leaving the stage at times. You should try more songs, Felix generally has his part in them! Try Gods Menu. It’s a few years old now but I think this is where Felix really came into his own.
the reason why Felix (the deep voice mian with an angelic face) left so much times is because he suffers from a back injurie and it was really serious at that time, so he couldnt dance a lot and thats why he had to leave a lot. but u can watch other perfomances/MV and he has a lot more stage presence! and if u want to hear more u should definitively react to 'god's menu', 'muddy water', 'side effects', 'victory song', 'domino', 'back door' (and A LOT more). and yes, thats his actual voice.

Stray Kids are the definition of Duality. Felix with the demon voice and angel personality. Changbin with the intense dark rapper....until he is offstage and adorable. Hyunjin (red hair) has unholy stage presence and off stage is our resident drama Llama. And their music going from hard rap heavy to soaring vocals and often within the same song. SKZ have a HUGE discography and they span like 40 genres of music but seriously they have a few more bubble gum songs but MANY of them are like this. And yeah since the group self produce, they definitely know how to utilize Felix's Voice to the maximum.

I will never get tired of watching peoples reactions to Felix's (White hair)voice. The beautiful thing is he is such a broad talent. Dance, rap, and the deepness of his voice is just the beginning. Listen to Deep End sang exclusively by Felix where you hear the beautiful falsetto he can do as well.
The one with the white hair is felix, he's the one known for his deep voice. Hyunjin (red hair) has gone pretty low in a couple of songs but can't really replicate it in live performances and in maniac his voice was mixed with Felix's on his chorus so Felix's voice is the lower part of that. Both are extremely talented dancers and are part of stray kids dance line called danceracha although hyunjin is more well known for his dancing than felix. The reason that felix kept leaving the stage is because he injured his back and wasn't supposed to dance much, definitely check out the mv because he's fully involved in that. Felix tends to go deeper with his voice in title tracks but some songs that really showcase his deep voice are God's menu, victory song, venom, freeze, easy, cheese, and domino. Domino doesn't have an mv but the dance practice is sick and is one of my favourites of all time

Felix, the guy with the deep voice (blond hair in this performance) had a bad back problem during most of this comeback. He is usually one of the main three dancers but was barely able to perform, that is why the choreo has him walking off and disappearing so often. He's one of those who always performs all out, he can't seem to help it, so they wouldn't let him be in the dances or really limited his parts to save him from further injury. Stray Kids will also often have several members echo one another, repeating the chorus in a slightly different key, often with Felix' vocals backing them to add depth, that's what happened when the red-haired guy (Hyunjin) repeated the chorus and you were freaking about where was blondie. Both red head and blond are in the dance unit (DanceRacha). They have a super sexy song, Taste, check out the live performances of them--somewhat R&B, not hip hop. Not bubble gum at all, moody, eerie, and as mentioned, very intense.
Aside from the great recommendations for Freeze, Venom, Domino, I'd also recommend Thunderous, Victory Song and Easy as part of their "harder" content. If you are up for interesting rap, also try The Tortoise and The Hare (no MV, and a very very weird song) and Muddy Waters.
Also check out some of the fan content on Felix' vocal duality, his natural vocal talent is kind of unearthly, very high and very low, those fan videos usually have content of him speaking in his natural deep voice so you can tell it really is his voice. He's also very sweet and goofy, so they are really funny to watch. He has a solo song, Deep End that is probably not to your taste--it's a pretty intense post-break-up ballad--but you get to hear him harmonize with himself, using about 3 octaves. It is worth listening to just for the wow factor--yes, that is all really his own true voice singing.

It is always fun to see folks get gobsmacked by Stray Kids.... musicality, talent, dance, visual impact -- all kinds of ways they can get us. If you were not connecting with them in the past, rest assured they have continued to develop their own sound (which is rarely "bubblegum" at this point....) Have fun! Anything by the 3Racha subunit is going to be rap-based. They are the opposite of cookie cutter, a unique sound to each song.... Pretty unpredictable, you never know what to expect, and I promise you, their MV's are out of the world good!
Funny enough, the first time we saw that see-through shirt on Lix, he was indeed wearing it as a vampire (we have both a dance practice and comeback stage of "Thunderous" with them portraying vampires). Of course, he's almost as crop-topped as Chris is in half of the Maniac Tour stages, including him (and Chris and I.N) flashing abs as an official part of the Charmer choreo. So...y'know, he's all good with people seeing the hard work he puts into his body, and provides ample opportunities to be seen.
SKZ is well known as one of the most hiphop- and rap-centric groups in the industry. They're very experimental and have played with dozens upon dozens of genres and styles, but hiphop and rap are among their most dominant core elements. They occasionally weave in little bits of pop among the r&b and hiphop and rap and trap and edm and drill and whatnot, and there are a very limited number of pop-dominant songs (though even those tend to be tweaked into something nonstandard). But not a single title track has been sweet-pop-dominant -- rather, MANIAC is pretty representative of their sonic choices with title tracks. They get a lot of hate for making "noise music"/"pots-and-pans music"/"construction-sound music"/etc because of how well known they are for making loud, hard, heavy songs. They literally named an album NOEASY (said fast: "Noisy") and then filled the entire thing with lyrical, sonic, and structural clapbacks to their antis, proudly embracing their reputation as the noisiest group.
I genuinely cannot think of a single song that you would have heard from them, especially more than one, that could have given a legitimate impression of "bubblegum" being their thing. There's ballads and slower stuff and lighthearted/playful stuff and whatnot, of course, because they experiment and don't like to be locked into one sound, but none of it is bubblegum pop (I cannot _stand_ bubblegum pop; there's a reason the only Korean group I listen to is SKZ). The closest I could think of would be "24 to 25" (which is a song meant as a gift to the fandom for Christmas, so soft-poppy sentimentality gets a bit of a pass there) or "Your Eyes" and "There," two Japanese releases from within the past year, which are a pair of songs that are pretty but also schmoopy pop tracks meant to go together and are presented as a bit tongue-in-cheek treacly for that specific market. And again, that's been within less than the past year AND are Japanese tracks AND are not title tracks AND thus had very limited exposure (relatively speaking). So it's almost certainly not actually those that you heard and which gave you the bubblegum impression.
Which leaves me strongly suspecting that at some point they got mixed up with another group in your mind. Because "bubblegum" would be almost universally be the last word anyone who's heard SKZ would use to describe their music. Even the people who build their entire personalities around hating and stalking and threatening SKZ don't call them bubblegum.

Welcome to Stray Kids! A group that was hand picked by their leader Bang Chan(Christopher Bang - Australian, blue hair). They are a group that has their own sound and mostly appeal to people who are not into pop music.
They produce their own music, their production team called 3Racha(three racha): the first producer is Bang Chan, who has the most input, from writing, producing to arrangement and line distribution. He literally doesn't sleep, because he is always working on music. The second member is Changbin, also produces and writes, he is an amazing lyricist and a fire rapper, one of the fastest idol rapper in the industry. Han is the third member (and my personal fav) of the producing team. As a lyricist he is a very special one in my opinion, because he can convey feelings that are hard to describe in a way that just hits different. He is a very unorthodox rapper, his rhyme schemes are disgustingly good, and he is to many people's surprise one of the members who can hit the highest notes, with a very special vocal tone, too.
The next unit of the group is the Danceracha. They are the ones who are especially good at dancing(but to be honest, all of them are good, and there are no fixed roles in this group like main dancer, lead vocalist etc.). The danceracha members are: Hyunjin (red hair), who is literally one of if not the best performer in the 4th gene kpop scene. He has a very dominating aura on stage, and there is no way you miss him, and when he raps that is a whole another story. Felix (deep voice, blonde, Australian too) is the next member, the one that has the most memorable lines in the songs. He is also an amazing dancer, and has on contrary to his image on stage, he is a literal sunshine. Lee Know (pinkish hair) is one of the cleanest dancers I have ever seen. He is the one that helps the other members learn the choreographies, and also has a very beautiful vocal tone. He is the sassy one of the group.
The last unit is Vocalracha, the youngest members: Seungmin, with his angelic voice, who never forgets to make others laugh. According to them he is the funniest, but according to Bang Chan, he is the bane of his existence (he always calls the leader old). I.N is the last member, the youngest of the group, but basically the person who holds the most power over the other members. They baby him, but in my opinion they created a monster xdd. He has a very special vocal tone, which is very memorable and his stage presence is top notch.
And well, here some recommendations for you. You said not to recommend you their most popular songs, but probably you didn't know that you just reacted their most popular one xdd.

P.S.: Here I would like to mention that I was a big BTS fan back than, but to be honest I cannot connect with their music anymore as much as I can with Stray Kids. I still like them as people and follow their journey, but for me something changed.
This is an explanation for the people who are confused:
So basically the blonde/white haired angel boy is called Felix. He is the one with the deep voice. The reason why he is rarely seen in this performance video is because he had a back injury at the time so he couldn't dance much.
The red haired one is called Hyunjin. He was the one the viewer got confused about. Hyunjin has a pretty deep voice, but not like Felix. The reason why his voice was so deep in that song was because he had layered his singing with Felix's. So they had basically layered it with Felix's around three times. That's why his singing sounded so deep.

I looked at the previous Straykids songs you reacted to and those were in the beginning of their career when they were still finding their "sound". Once they finally did, they came out with absolute bangers back to back. The 1st songs I heard when I discovered them a year and a half ago were Thunderous and God's Menu. After that, I tried to listen to earlier songs and they didn't hit as hard so I stuck to the more recent ones. Once I developed a true love for StrayKids I went back and listened to their earlier music and now I absolutely love all of it. It just hits me different now. Hope this helps ❤. Felix is real with eye contacts in. GQ Magazine interviewed: Felix said he got his deep voice from his father. Felix said his father have a very low deep voice. Felix said when he was 13, he woke up one morning with a deep voice. Felix thought he was sick. He asked his mother was he sick, she said no, you're going through puberty.

The blonde hair guy (felix) actually walks off the screen a lot in maniac and in other videos in oddinary because of his recent back injury so he cannot do some of the moves :( and yes, thats his real voice :) AND in some parts with the red hair guy (hyunjin) the voices are overlayed for a cool effect as you noticed, so the really deep voice is felix (blondehair) mixed with hyunjin's voice and a few others in multiple parts throughout the song.

The reason Felix kept coming in and going out was because when they filmed this performance video, he had a back injury and was unable to do the whole dance without hurting himself.
He did dance in the mv but his back injury was getting worse during their Maniac era.

These members are the most skilled on dancing, and they are in charge of the choreography
Extra: Hyunjin, is considered the main VISUAL of the group, his expressions on stage make him a great performer. He knows exactly when and how to make some expressions and make it so unique with the way he moves, he has such sharp, smooth movements. i love to see Hyunjin dances, that men amazed me every time,. He dances with his eyes, hands, his entire body knows how to catch the sound.

Felix's voice is sooo unique and good! And Hyunjin (red hair) is my bias, his dancing, appearance and charisma are breathtaking! Please react to more Stray Kids, they are amazing~

Some of my favourites are Domino (has a dance practice video which is INSANE!), Freeze, 3racha, Hayday, Side Effects, Back Door & Christmas Evil (still bopping to it in my Spotify playlist in April)
Also, they have soooo much content outside of the MVs, SKZ code and their vlogs etc really give you an insight into how great the guys are as people. I'm sure like a lot of other STAYS I came for the music but stayed for the boys. I really hope you find more SKZ content that you love!

Hey as an Army and Stay (ArmyStay), welcome to Stray Kids! Stray kids is a self produced group that concists of 8 amazing members that our dear leader Christopher Bang Chan (blue hair) hand picked himself. They debuted in 2018 but their discography is huge and simply incredible. The boys are all SO talented and kind and the have the most chaotic energy I've ever seen fr😭. I've watched many kpop groups but Stray Kids just stands out with their uniqe sound and talents and they are the sweetest people
You don’t know what you are in for 😂 I discovered them a year ago. They are the ONLY kpop band I listen to. I have tried others but there just isn’t a connection for me. These guys are just different. They write and produce THEIR own music. Their songs have good meaning and the guys are so charming when you get to know their personalities. ❤ can’t wait to see more reactions!

Felix (the deep voice Stray Kids) is not dancing/on screen much because during their ODDINARY era he hurt his back. Which is why he's not overexerting himself by dancing.

At the time of the video's filming, he had a herniated disk in his back, so his movements were limited.
That's why they choreographed him going off screen when they were doing more elaborate moves.
In many other videos from when his back was not injured, he fully participates in the entire choreo for those respective songs.
