Leaving Cips out of the England team says everything you need to know about the England team. Ruled by old school tie. For what it’s worth most people I know didn’t believe anything our gutter press were saying. Glad Danny has found inner peace 💪

Great interview. Danny is a very interesting character and watching him play rugby, you could see his brilliance. One things that occurs to me when i followed his journey, was i think he was triggering envy in people a lot.
Playing with that brilliance and flair, and dating women that brought a lot of attention to him being a ladies man was always going to make other people envious of him. That envy from other players, coaches and the public too, may have caused him a lot of the issues in terms of getting a proper run with England. People like to sabotage people they are envious of

Cipriani would have been TWICE JW and England's answer to Daniel Carter.
He was way ahead of his time.
    Still is.

That Debut for England in my opinion is the greatest debut I've ever seen from any England 10 in all My time watching rugby. That day Danny gave a glimpse of the greatness he had in him sadly for what ever reason subsequent England coaches didn't want to chance it with him.

Love Danny's advice and approach to the game! Get a feel for the game for yourself, know the game for yourself...I wish i learned that when I was 16 years old.

My favorite Sports book is Christmas in Rarotonga by John Wright. He is very funny and a great story teller. I have read many hundreds!!

Danny Cipriani, a kindred spirit, who is to my amusement, a fellow Scorpio. Two other Scorpio's - and two sporting greats in my humble opinion - are Diego Maradona and Boris Becker. Sportsmen who, like Mr Cipriani, encapsulate - on and off the field - the duality of life: the Angel and the Devil, the Dark and the Light, the Genius and the Idiot, All-or-Nothing. A quote by Ion Țiriac, Boris Becker's manager, probably sums up this 'archetype:'
'Boris Becker [is like] a child, in that he has a flame here. And he just tries to see if he's getting burned or he's not getting burned.'
PS. If you like sports documentaries, I highly recommend Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker by Alex Gibney, and Diego Maradona by Asif Kapadia.

Imagine the career he would have had at Chelsea!!! But probably would have lead to more issues. Wish him all the best as a Wasps fan. When him and Piatau, Goperth, and LeRoux were on it, it was a thing of beauty.

Yea would be cool to see how he would’ve gone at football! That was a stacked backline!

You could've told him about the hair on his chin Jimmy, like all good friends do. Nonetheless, great work on the podcast. This could be the avenue/ exposure these people need in order to receive the "phone call".

Racing 92 should sign Cipriani. Got X factor like Fin Russell. Combo with Christian Wade Wing play, tries and points to move up Top 14 table for fun🥏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Sadly Stuart Lancaster is their new Head Coach ( the ex England coach that refused to pick Danny) so not much chance of that I reckon. Sad though, as the link up with Christian Wade on probably the fastest pitch in Europe ( totally indoor artificial pitch)
