- Though he faced significant opposition throughout his life and ministry, the Apostle Paul was compelled to keep on preaching, working to spread the Gospel even in the most difficult circumstances. Alistair Begg uses Paul's example to encourage today's pastors to rely on God's strength when they feel weak, to seek His grace when disappointments arise, and to take heart in challenges, knowing that God's power is best displayed as He preserves His own in times of trouble.

Thank you Alistair for your faithfulness. Over the years your ministry has walked us through the mirey maze of this earthly existence teaching us the truths of the Bible. With your wonderful wittiness, you have been a continual reassurance for those of us who know Christ as our Savior.
I am not as old as King James, who must have loved the version KJV, but it is my main Bible . When I come across words which I need to know more about I use my dictionary. All these new version so often change the meaning.

My prayer for this preacher is that he will take time to get away with the Lord and rest so that he will not grow weary a well doing because Satan wants to try to wear down the patience of the saints by getting them busy and doing all kinds of things so my prayer is that he will take the time to listen to the holy Spirit and just take time to get away with the Lord in the presence of the Lord for a week or two and get some rest the congregation needs to tell him to go ahead and get some rest and have another good preacher a good shepherd who will preach the same word to come in so it won't lose its effectiveness so that he may go in peace and have faith and trust that the shepherd won't lead his flock or stray amen we all need to get away to be filled with the holy Spirit Jesus went away many times to be renewed and that's what these pastors need to do amen,
