  • For months, in the year 1900 people in Manchester and the surrounding areas lived in fear people began being rushed to hospital extremely unwell some with paralysis. And then came the deaths but they all seemed to have one thing in common.

    In those days beer could be bought by the jug that the customer brought with them most woman drank beer at home because respectable women didnt go into pubs
