I got the strobing stick in 100 the other day at Walmart and I saw that contour/highlight stick and I was thinking of getting it but since I haven't had good experiences with drugstore contour products (note: DO NOT GET ANY CREAM CONTOUR PRODUCTS FROM NYX. THEY ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO BLEND!) but I'm debating going back and getting that stick now. And also, I feel like since you are dating someone else now and have moved, you seem so much happier. You have so much enthusiasm in your videos compared to a year ago and it's wonderful to see you happy.
If Sam likes these products for her face, then so will I. 🙂 I trust her opinion on account that I am an oily/acne prone skin type. So I will be for sure trying out the contour stick and the powder.

i hate the contour stick :( i mean i tried blending it with a sponge and a brush and it still looks patchy... maybe its my foundation .. i dunni

I bought these weeks ago but havent used them! the first thing I did after I purchased was look up "Maybelline contour stick saaammage" so I could see what you think and how you use them so now that I saw I'm going to use them today. I usually get the same foundation shades as you and such but I got the contour stick in deep for more dramatic use so the concealer is too dark for highlighting but good for blemishes!
I'm going to have to get that powder.... you sold me!

I also have a confession......I'm 29 and I WEAR LIP SMACKERS EVERYDAY! 😆Btw, I've been eyeballing that powder for about a month and a half now at walmart. I bought the NARS crystal powder a few days ago and it's ok. But I'll be picking up the Maybelline powder tomorrow. TY for the review.

great video. I have the contour stick, and highlight stick. I wouldn't say I love them but I do like them. I just ordered the powder and will be getting it tomorrow I can't wait. I did swatch it once and it felt sooo smooth, I talked myself out of buying it though and ended up ordering it off CVS with a 30% off sale. I also have been contemplating on buying the lip product just not convinced I'll reach for it. 😑 Thanks for sharing!

The light colour in the contour stick has a very nice dark contour shade!
I think I would hate the 2-in-1 split stick situation. I guess I won't know unless I try? But.... just seems a little crazy. Plus, what if you use one side more than the other?

if you want a cream contour/highlight stick that's more separate that the maybelline one, NYX has their Wonder Stick. it's double ended, one side contour and the other highlight. I believe there are four shades. but I don't know how it compares to the Maybelline one. Also, did the powder keep you matte and did it break you out?
