- In todays studio vlog we are going to get to work on developing a brand new product to add to the wonderful world of katnipp! Ill show you my whole process from start to finish, but first of we have to head to Milan on a business trip!

On the wall decals you would probably need some kind of transfer tape on top so that people can put them on easier. Just a thought! Hugs 🤗

Decor Decals with different plants in a Plant pot would be lovely for folks who don’t have a green thumb yet or pets they can’t have live plants around!
It'd be cute to maybe have a nighttime version of the flowers for those who like that nighttime cozy vibe for their setting! Or maybe using the space theme stickers of yours in this way too.
The beginning of this video really has me motivated for my own art career. I'm a muralist/illustrator in my 30s but I'm only 3 years into running it full time. I want to start a TH-cam channel showing my journey, and maybe this is my synchronicity oh showing that I should follow my heart and do it.
I've also finally jumped into the world of what is Studio Ghibli and I am absolutely obsessed. 13 year old me would have loved it too, and I'm trying to follow my old loves again.

These would also work so well as mirror stickers! Don’t know if anyone has already mentioned that but it would be so cute to have a cute quotes and some bumblebutt and flowers for them
kinda crazy how i *just* bought off your etsy page by chance, looking for a new mouse mat, ended up getting the hydrangea bee mat coaster and cup bundle, and now TH-cam is recommending me your channel. Excited to have it arrive in the mail!
For the decor decal - Transfer Tape Will make transferring the wall decals much easier. I don't know what makes the most sense logistically but even just including a piece in the order might be nice and much less stressful for those who purchased to have available as an option. & For the larger size options you could cut them into multiple pieces so that people line them up but in reduces postal shipping and additional package options.
I came to the comments to say the same thing about the transfer tape 🥰
Or could you simply peel or cut a small strip off the back place it down and then slowly peel the rest back. Something like a UVDTF is done. I worry that the transfer tape could take the paint off the wall.

Me too. Weed the negative, transfer tape and place and peel sections at a Time. Having the transfer tape in the pack is a must. Also roll with tissue in a tube is easiest way to send. Xxx
I came to say the same thing about transfer tape! I work in a print shop where we utilize it for vinyl transfers, I love it so much!
Catherine I love how you focus on making every day a bit more fun, I work in a boring office where there's no personality lol. Since covid we hot desk so not really any way around that but I'm grateful to work from home most of the time. I bought one of your mouse mats last year and I absolutely love it, I was blown away by how good the quality is

Obviously Bumblebutt needs to be a decal and I think a sakura theme would be amazing!
This would be adorable as a much longer version with more flowers. Picture a little girls bedroom with these flowers all the way around the bottom of the walls. Like a floor border.
The frog pond or blue hydrangeas would be my pick for decals but the haunted house from Marshie and friends would be cool too
I would love to see rhododendron flowers for the background decor decals. Maybe offered in a few different colors, but print on demand so you don’t waste vinyl.
I thought the idea for the new product was really cool, and it turned out simply perfect! Another idea would be a yoga mat with your art, which would look amazing! I was imagining it with characters like Gingie lying down or perhaps a flower garden with some Bumble Bees.
A yoga mat with your illustration would make exercise time so much more fun!
The stickers turned out so cute! It would be cool to see a crystal cluster set to go with the pastel witch collection for Halloween 💜

I’ve always loved using Illustrator, but when I want my illustrations to look more like the ones I create in Procreate after vectorizing, I use Adobe Fresco or the iPad version of Illustrator. Since it’s quite different from the desktop version, I learned how to use it through a Skillshare class. 😊
I absolutely love this new product! It’s so nice to have tulips decorating the wall.🌷✨

Catherine, I can totally relate to whay you read from the book. I had suffered with depression and started painting (which was horrible hehe) then I did a women of purpose course and at the course they talked about the same thing... and that was the start and now Im a full time surface pattern designer... I did get alot better with my painting heh

I love Robert Greene. It’s funny that stoicism is trending, I guess that huge YT channel on stoicism is the best thing that ever happened to the philosophy! But then and via postgrad art studies, I learnt just how much the ancient Greeks are what we still live by and make art by. One day a lecturer quizzed us all by questions and show of hands and then delivered the results- my class were all Humanists!

Love the decal idea! I have trouble "drawing" in Illustrator on the I pad as well so I use Adobe Fresco instead. It has vector layers and brushes you can use and is can export to Illustrator or as a PDF or PSD to preserve the vectors. 🌸 As with any new program there's a little bit of a learning curve. Hope that helps 🙏

I've recently been reading a book about Stoicism and it has 52 lessons that you learn through the year...and I feel like I'm being guided towards that philosophy and then you mention that you're interested in it too. So funny! I will definitely pick that up.
I agree...isn't it amazing that ancient philosophers talk about issues such as resentment and greed just like we would feel in today's modern day!

Such a supercute idea! Maybe just a little tip: try applying the vinyl with some transfer tape, you won't have to cut them up into segments then and it's easier to position it too!

I have been learning on Illustrator from the Adobe suite for a while now, so I am getting better at it. But even now, like you, I find it so frustrating sometimes, and things take forever to end up the way I envision them.
However, I have been trying Fresco this week and it surely looks more like what you need and would enjoy. You can also animate and use motion on it. You should try if you haven't yet, you would love it 😉😊

with these lovely (ahum) European airlines I highly recommend to check bagage size before departure. For most you have to pay for every kind of luggage now and they sneakily change their sizes all the time to be smaller and smaller.
it might sound silly but the decals seem like such a cute decor for a toilet. As you can go nuts there and cute it up for a small space

I wish I had the room for one of those Roland printer things, my old boss had one and it was pretty nice. I made a banner the other night on my Cricut (with vinyl) and I said to myself how I wish I had the larger printer for it lol
Totally hear you about learning Illustrator and it being totally different than drawing in Procreate! I've seen Tun Hundred use Procreate for the illustration and then bring the artwork into Adobe Fresco, they have a vector brush so it's still drawing but it's vectorized. I believe he has a tutorial of how he does it on his channel. Maybe that could help with vectorizing your art without having to learn illustrator!

any decal works best to apply tiny bit by bit by leaving the film on the back and slowly pealing it back. That way, regardless of the size, you don't need several parts. (and have the dread of lining it up)

Your vlogs never cease to inspire and motivate, and that absolutely includes this one. Things in my own life have been going through some major ups and downs, including possible surgery, so all of these changes have allowed me to focus way, waaaay more on my art and so this video hit very hard in my heart (but in a good way!) and so I'm extra buzzing to do more things that I desire for my soul and my mind. To see how much you're doing and what makes you feel good and creating a new product of flowers (to start with) and what new adventures await... I'm very excited for all that you have coming down the line! And perhaps the book that you were reading and quoted wouldn't be a bad one to pick up and use as a 'return to me for comfort' read to feel that I am doing what my heart and soul desires. Thank you so much.

Random weirdness: my head has never whipped around so fast 😅 at 19:13, that little whistle song that plays in the back is the intro song to one of my other favorite youtubers, Renovation East. I thought my phone fritzed out and somehow maneuvered itself to a different channel altogether! (AI HOSTILE TAKE OVER!!! O,...,O) I scrambled to get Katnipp back on but... all was well 😂 😅
Those head cannons from Robert Greene are SO SO IMPORTANT. Truly. People consume so much outside themselves from media and entertainment that they have no time or desire to look inward to what makes them happy. They feel lost and unfulfilled, wishing for what others have. His advice is to start at the beginning: what did you love to do as a kid? ❤ Seek yourself.

You should have a look into the Law of Assumption - Neville Goddard, for example. This may be something for you as well. Overall when looking at Magick, eastern way of living (especially Zen Buddhism), Physics (were I come from and I was like an old physicist only trusting in provable results) and the Law of Assumtion, it comes all down to the same thing that your conciousness (you yourself) creates your own reality. And by this you really get to know yourself better.
Which lead to the ensemble of events you show here, your childrens book idea and the opening of the event and that you considered this companie in the first place. And when I am right in thinking Roland is very eastern based when it comes to mindset, right?! It is not coincidence, dear Catherine.

what machine are you using for the decals please? love them!
You should use adobe fresco for vector work so much more intuitive and not dissimilar to procreate think it would save you so much time. I say this as I have just discovered the same 😊

That "Force" is God, who lovingly created you and guides us all to who and where we are meant to be. But over time, as we grow older, we decide to go our own way and usually screw up and make a mess of things. Haha. But His grace is there for us to come back and follow His lead. 😃
