Mais ce jour là elle est resté à la roulotte car une randonnée de 10 km c’est trop pour elle avec son genoux gauche qui la fait énormément souffrir à cause de son arthrose. Puis au montage c’est moi encore ...mais elle se prive de moi pendant des heures et des heures ...Lol! 😂....si te peut dire !🤪 Pour en revenir à ces fous de bassan ...oui ils sont magnifiques et j’ai eu des émotions lorsque je suis arrivé...je suis un grand sensible aux belles choses de la vie . Wonderful! Amazing shots of the giant gannet colony. Very beautiful! I liked your slow motion of some of the birds in the air - how did you do that? Does your camera capture 4K at 60 FPS? About the slow motion ...my K1 have a automatic Slow Motion mode which is 120fps /1080 HD and adding the clip in the FCPX it converts it to 4K with all the my other 4K footage but it’s still 1080 HD in reality. @@HaswellTravelled Hello Jim I use my K1 to do timelapse ( on my tripod), hand held slow motions and when I walk around . The Sony FDR-AX53 only on my tripod mostly. I do use sometimes my Gopro Hero 7 on the chest walking also . Have a nice evening H&S 👩❤️👨🌈🇨🇦
@@SergeCousineau Hi Serge. Thanks for the info. I always use my AX43 in handheld mode, but then I always shake stabilize in my editor to smooth it out even more. I have been looking for a way to get better stabilized video while I'm walking. I try to hold my AX43 as steady as I can but its optical stabilization is not good enough while walking, especially on rougher terrain, and I end up playing with digital stabilization settings in my editor - and often still drop some clips from use. I was thinking of a gimbal for my cell phone, but I'll keep the K1 in mind as an option. Thanks and enjoy your day!
@@HaswellTravelled I love steady clips also, sometimes I also use the stabilization in FCPX it’s pretty amazing how it brings back clips that I would normally throw away. Not sur if the K1 is still selling they had a lot of problems and also the customer service wasn’t to good . I know that it’s much more money but a Sony A 7 lll with a gimbal that goes for it like a DJI Ronin is what I would like 🤪 , but it’s quite bigger , but the quality that comes out is amazing! Bird colonies are very impressive, its good to see sanctuaries like this as the species survival is not under pressure. The noise would drive me nuts and I am no fan of smells like you have described but the general take on the location is a good one. I notice that your camera looks like my own Sony FDR AX53 which is one of my favourite cameras. I own and use an AX 700 for 4k but the AX53 is a lot easier to use and you get good results if you know how to use it.
Hello Steve ! Yes it’s really impressive, it’s the biggest in the world. It was time for me to leave after a moment because I was getting crazy and the smell is really strong and there a ton of flies 🤢 Yes I have the Sony FRD-AX 53 since almost 4 years now and I am quite comfortable with it , but I always used it on my tripod. Que c'est beau la nature! Ce qui m'avait le plus impressionné c'est de voir que les fous font leur affaires sans s'occuper de nous tous qui les observons. De magnifiques oiseaux, bravo H&S pour ces belles images !
Merci Yves nous apprécions tes commentaires...surtout moi ( Serge )... lol! 😂 Car Hélène ne fait que suivre en voyages ...mais elle est très patiente avec moi car elle m’attend toujours lorsque je filme . Mais ce jour là elle est resté à la roulotte car une randonnée de 10 km c’est trop pour elle avec son genoux gauche qui la fait énormément souffrir à cause de son arthrose. Puis au montage c’est moi encore ...mais elle se prive de moi pendant des heures et des heures ...Lol! 😂....si te peut dire !🤪
Pour en revenir à ces fous de bassan ...oui ils sont magnifiques et j’ai eu des émotions lorsque je suis arrivé...je suis un grand sensible aux belles choses de la vie .

I can tell you that I was I bit tired to listen at them when I was there 😩 so I can’t even imagine staying there a few hours ...but maybe at night they go to sleep ! There is no one on the island at night it’s forbidden.

Fantastic visit of the islands gannet colonies. I love these birds. Beautiful to see and hear. It is really important that we protect such retreats of endangered species. Excellent and very instructive video, my friends. You did a great job again.👌👍

The population is growing every year and there’s enough place for more birds on the island . There’s also many biologists working to study and protect them.

Wow! That's a lot of Gannets 😲😲! But what a sight and it is good to see that the bird population is flourishing (and the flies by the same token 🤣🤣). Very good informative video, Serge👍💯👍. Glad this species has been protected. The babies are so fluffy! The birds seem to live their celebrity very well LOL Glad for once that it is not possible to smell through the video ah ah! Northern Gannet Colony on Bona Venture Island, many wild birds are protected! It's nice to see the ecology in the immediate vicinity (^^ ♪

Lovely video, really fascinating too. I certainly didn’t know anything about Gannets but I’ve learnt something today..really interesting that they can see forward, once you mentioned it you Can see their eyes do look different especially from the front....thanks for sharing fella 🤩🤩🤩

Oui exceptionnel effectivement! Je n’ai pas été incommodé mais disons qu’après un certain temps leurs cris , l’odeur et les mouches j’en avais assez surtout que j’avais filmé de tout bord tout côté . 🤪

Wonderful! Amazing shots of the giant gannet colony. Very beautiful! I liked your slow motion of some of the birds in the air - how did you do that? Does your camera capture 4K at 60 FPS? I have tried slowing down my 4K 30 FPS but it goes choppy. Well done, my friend 👍. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day 😀.
Thanks Jim ! About the slow motion ...my K1 have a automatic Slow Motion mode which is 120fps /1080 HD and adding the clip in the FCPX it converts it to 4K with all the my other 4K footage but it’s still 1080 HD in reality.

I use my K1 to do timelapse ( on my tripod), hand held slow motions and when I walk around . The Sony FDR-AX53 only on my tripod mostly. I do use sometimes my Gopro Hero 7 on the chest walking also .

@@SergeCousineau Hi Serge. Thanks for the info. I always use my AX43 in handheld mode, but then I always shake stabilize in my editor to smooth it out even more. I have been looking for a way to get better stabilized video while I'm walking. I try to hold my AX43 as steady as I can but its optical stabilization is not good enough while walking, especially on rougher terrain, and I end up playing with digital stabilization settings in my editor - and often still drop some clips from use. I was thinking of a gimbal for my cell phone, but I'll keep the K1 in mind as an option. Thanks and enjoy your day!
@@HaswellTravelled I love steady clips also, sometimes I also use the stabilization in FCPX it’s pretty amazing how it brings back clips that I would normally throw away. Not sur if the K1 is still selling they had a lot of problems and also the customer service wasn’t to good .
I know that it’s much more money but a Sony A 7 lll with a gimbal that goes for it like a DJI Ronin is what I would like 🤪 , but it’s quite bigger , but the quality that comes out is amazing! Or like you said a gimbal for your cell phone is quite affordable also .

Bird colonies are very impressive, its good to see sanctuaries like this as the species survival is not under pressure. The noise would drive me nuts and I am no fan of smells like you have described but the general take on the location is a good one. I notice that your camera looks like my own Sony FDR AX53 which is one of my favourite cameras. I own and use an AX 700 for 4k but the AX53 is a lot easier to use and you get good results if you know how to use it.

Yes it’s really impressive, it’s the biggest in the world. It was time for me to leave after a moment because I was getting crazy and the smell is really strong and there a ton of flies 🤢 Yes I have the Sony FRD-AX 53 since almost 4 years now and I am quite comfortable with it , but I always used it on my tripod. You can see all my gear in the description.
