Rabiul Haque : I am 65, and have been diagnosed with ( C.O.P.D. ) Emphysema. This came about because of my Passion for volunteering to rescue animals. Cats, and Especially ( which led to my undoing ) birds. After multiple allergic reactions that required hospitalizations, I was diagnosed with "HYPERSENSITIVE PNUEMENITUS" ! The Doctors "warned" me that I was heading for serious problems, health wise. I permitted my heart to over rule the warnings. The result of which I nearly lost my life after a life threatening asthma attack. I would not respond to "rescue" inhalers, and the carbon monoxide had reached to the certain level where death was imminent. A tube ( tubulisation ) was inserted into my lungs to try to revive me. I was taken to intensive care. A series of exams were ordered and the heart breaking results was that I had stage ll C.O.P.D. Damage to the lungs was diagnosed as SEVERE ! The fact that I am 150 pounds over weight did not help matters any. Albutoral, Iprotopium bromide, which I am taking via nebulizing machine, seems to have run it's course, in trying to relieve my symptoms. They do not help as much as before. I have already signed the papers, that good sound organs are to be donated to those in desperate need. My lungs, and the rest of my body are to be donated to science, and that which is left is to be interned with a Very Dear Relative. Thank You for your lectures Doctor. I will be be looking forward to hearing more of them for as long as I am still around. Blessings ! P.S. A VERY, VERY, SPECIAL THANK YOU , FIREFIGHTERS AND MEDICAL PERSONELL, THAT LITERALLY SAVED FROM THE BRINK, ON THAT FRIGHTENING AFTERNOON ! 👍🙋👏👋

alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency is actually a misnomer. actually liver synthesisizes alpha1 antitrypsin but it cant be transported to lungs.
