I'm no expert but i believe kingmanturquoise sells howlite because I bought a bottle of turquoise in mineral oil and took it out and it crumbles with little pressure in between my fingers and ik ur not supposed to expose to water but I watched I disintegrate in 5 mins and I asked them and they said I'm wrong and blocked me 🤣🤷‍♂️🤔

I guess it depends. I am an intermediate silversmith, and I've cut some rough turquoise, (water web, black web, and just plain blue with pyrite) and the turquoise cut just fine.

Wow.....who is "they" exactly? I'm a Diné silversmith also, I've also cut both stabilized snd natural blackcweb and red web Kingman turquoise and they cut beautifully. I guess it just depends on how much money you are willing to spend on good quality grade turquoise.
