- on 28.8.2017 the first electric loco touchdown the israel track in 17:54.
the loco arrived from Bremen harbour.from Kassel(Bombardier factory) it houled to Bremen port by the legendery DB cl. 103.
On 1.8 the ship NORMED ANTWERPEN started it journey to Haifa with lot of stops on it way.
On board loaded also 6 Double Deck Gorlitz coaches that the I.R logos and symbols were covered for safety reasons.
The coaches numbers 2373-2378.
Main line loco is Vossloh prima JT42BW 777.
The traxx and the 6 wagons traveled to Lod that night ,hauled by NGT26CW 712T and EMD G26CW2 611.

קטר טראקס מתוצרת בומברדייה גרמניה,יוצר בעיר קאסל ואינו הראשון בסידרה אלא הראשון שנשלח לישראל. הקטר נגרר מקאסל לנמל ברמן ע"י הקטר האגדי קלאס 103 של הרכבת הגרמנית. הועמס יחד עם 6 קרונות דאבל דק על האוניה "נורמד אנטוורפן" שיצאה למסעה ב1.8 ולאחר עצירות רבות בדרך הגיע מועד הפריקה ב 28.8.2017 כאשר הקטר נפרק אחרון ונגע במסילת הרכבת בשעה 17:54. נגרר ע"י קטר בו-בו 777 למגרש חיפה ובחצות הליל ניגרר הקטר החשמלי עם הקרונות ללוד ברכבת 341 שהורכבה בראשה מקטר 712+ 611 .
למחרת הגעתו הקטר עבר סידרת מבחנים סטטים באמצעות זרם חיצוני.

the acs-64 is the american version of the siemens eurosprinter 2007 platform
It is quite curious the fact that when the rolling stock is disembarked and dropped with the crane, the positioning of the wheels on the rails is practically done "by hand". I wonder how much this work can be complicated or not. I think it anyway requires some skill!
