this a great video. i just got a rapsoda a month ago and have been using it along with rypstik. i have been playing more rounds of golf versus practice, but will start spending more time using the practice mode. my average swing speed with rypstik started at 97mph and is now 109. my comfy speed is right around 103-106. so, ive still got work to do.
@@MattMacKo that’s awesome! I didn’t include a section on speed training but I’ve been using it as well. Probably controversial but I think it’s helped my sequencing which is unexpected. I got a knockoff Rypstick and I did Rypstick protocol 1 for a month. I only gained a few mph but my smooth swing is now as fast as my fastest swing was before. It’s definitely helped my game. Your results are incredible! Thanks for watching and keep up the improvement.
Great video. This is the kind of information I’ve been looking for relating to how to actually practice productively with a LM. More content like this would be appreciated.
@@jeffcrawford3698 thank you! I will absolutely do more of these because I use my setup for improvement. Not everyone does and that’s okay but I’m glad to know there’s an audience for it.
This is a really great video. Thanks for posting it. I'm considering getting a Rapsodo. It's my understanding that you don't need GS Pro to play simulated courses on the Rapsodo, because it has its own built in as part of the subscription. How are you using GS Pro with the Rapsodo, and is it better than what the Rapsodo app/subsciption offers?
The rapsodo app has its own course play and it’s pretty good! I’d say a 6/10. Gspro is the ultimate software for realism. It comes at an extra cost but that’s what really takes my rapsodo to the next level. However, it is optional. Most people in the community that only use the native app seem super happy with it. The rapsodo app has everything you need and even though I prefer gspro, I still use the rapsodo app for its quick setup and I love practice mode when I’m working on my swing. Here’s a video that I put out while the rapsodo app was in beta, several weeks ago, but the update is pretty much identical to this, as well as some bug fixes. It’ll give you a good idea at what the Rapsodo app has to offer. It’s missing speed training and the combined but those are useful too. th-cam.com/video/6OQdxh3eM4g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=cHdzajdgzb1lGLyF
This video was actually inspired by the previous one I had posted after 8 months of only simulator golf: Can a Golf Simulator REALLY Help Your Game? th-cam.com/video/ZSMPjTSitck/w-d-xo.html I use a 1x2 hitting strip from USA turf pros cut into a cheap 5’x4’ mat from Amazon. The strip cost me $18 and it’s holding up incredibly well. And the quality of the fibers are impressive.
@@georgecoffin4453 haha the camera makes it look a lot tighter than it really is. Someone has hit the light but it was a toe shank ricochet off my bar cabinet, hit the vaulted ceiling and shot straight left into the light 🤣
Having your computer screen display projected on to the sheet is great for a TH-cam video, but seems like an unnecessary expense for practice. You can see the results on the laptop screen. When I worked for a Top 100 Rated custom club fitter we had the display on the computer screen in front of the player which worked great.
Yeah there’s a couple connectors. This one’s called “springbok.” It’s a quick download. One extra step to get setup with gspro. Best part being that you can use a webcam to putt!
@@CarrterGolf1 there are lots of different mats out there. The ones you see at the driving ranges are junk, made to hold up for a long time but they suck for proper practice. Club bounces, etc. I didn’t even know until I entered the simulator world, that there were actually decent options. Anyone who owns a sim will tell you to go with something quality to prevent injury and also to be able to simulate taking a divot. My mat sits over an inch off the ground and I can hit down with no problem. If I hit it fat, I feel it right away and I lose 25 yard sometimes.
Nah she doesnt he told me she's a total......jk! Lol I know this must be the amazingly awesome and beautiful wife hes always gushing over. She certainly does deserve ANYTHING she wants! Sorry Sandro thats probably gonna cost ya time or money. 😂
Feedback, as ALWAYS, is encouraged. Good and bad. Thanks for watching!
Awesome tips ! Thank you. Just getting used to my MLM2Pro garage setup. This helps me a lot!!!!
Glad it could help. Enjoy your new setup!
great analysis on pratice. gave me some great ideas to set up practice rounds
Glad I could help! Routines/plans are half the battle. I have to get creative with limited time.

Love the insight to your practice routines mate 👍
Thanks! Probably could have made it an entire series 😆
Another great video! I really appreciate how detailed you are with your reviews.
Amazing video brother. You help so many. Gotta be nice knowing ppl get something from your videos. Hope i get there someday!
Really enjoyed this!!! Can I ask what are you using to project onto the screen please?
Stock 9 iron carries 153. Damn I got more work to do 😂😂😂

100% agree. The projector is just for fun. When I practice I typically don’t use the projector. But guests certainly like it

Yeah but matts are too forgiving…
