@@wilsmith6551 Well, these months are Fall and start winter time mid-June. So, you need heavy clothes. The north of Chile is a bit warmer but during the night is very cold. The south is very rainy and cold. The central part it is milder. Anyway, everywhere is nice and you can find good people but be careful.

Wow, what an awesome place Jon!, I didn't know it even existed, I'm so glad you could make it there, it's nice to know places that are not so overexposed and still have that peaceful slow country vibe. Even in covid19 times one can go outside and make educated, civilizated tourism, all we have to do is to avoid taking risks and be smart about it. Best regards Jon!

but i wished you to mention about "Lago Ranco" as well , like Futrono and Llifén , "Lago Ranco" itself has wonderful places and its surroundings,
in order to tourist get to know these outstanding places like you showed in your video, anyway i'm grateful to you for showing us the amazing southern landscapes of Chile.
Hi Jon, Want to let you know we are OK. COVID is a major problem in North and South Carolina. We divide our time between both of our homes. The mountains of North Carolina are safer, just returned. Being in our early 70's makes us extra careful. Still have things on our bucket list. Give Moses a big hug for us....

Oh, Jon! This may be my favorite video of yours for the unparalleled beauty. This made me really long for being back in the south of Chile. We love Futrono as well and parts of it we walked my husband said, "I keep expecting a Hobbit to pop out in front of us at any moment!" I miss the magic that is the south of Chile.

Covid19+mid winter+off the beaten tourist circuit. These places get the most visitors at summer (January, February and March) those are the month when chileans usually go on vacations, if you go any other time they will be less crowded.
