Adds to the story, no? 🤨 However, once they calmed down around halfway through, the story got very exciting, although I guessed the final twist right at the beginning, and several of those twists along the way. Perhaps in a way, it's because the plot is ahead of its time, as we currently maneuver through today's embroiled times, and one comes to certain realizations about the veracity of anything, that is given to us every day.. However, JB Turner is an excellent thriller writer and I look forward to more of his books. Thank you for posting!🎉
Yes, there are several Britishisms.I see that the author is Scottish, but the editor should have hired an American to help. An editor could also have helped remove the several times Turner uses a word twice in the same sentence, or the same phrase in adjacent sentences.
