I accidentally made eye contact with 2 doberman's when I was 5. I slowly backed out the door then when I turned around to walk out idk maybe I was trying to run out at that point one of the dogs was across the room in 2 seconds and bit me on my butt. Twice. Both cheeks. The owner was sitting right there eating her potato chips and the only thing she told ne were do not make eye contact with them after I already did. geez lady you could have told me sooner. I have two scars and one looks like a big dimple. That was 51 years ago and I can't even remember what I had for breakfast yesterday!
I would not recommend barking or growling at a dog while asleep. My sister got her face bitten when we were kids , we had to beg and cry to my dad not to shoot it.

Yes! My pug watches Paw Patrol and chatters if I’m in the way of the tv. I talk to him and turns his head to the side. He loves I when I read to him and when it’s time to eat he takes his 2 paws and shakes the cage like a maniac and screams like a baby. He loves his food. He’s such a gift. Every dog in my neighborhood & the one just over the fence, was so scared if her. Even the pit nect door! And she was such a sweet thong. Never nipped, jumped at, bit, of harmed any one or anything her whole life. She would even bring me the moles & mice she found (read: dug up) for approval & permission to do what she was genetically geared to do. Such a sweetheart. I miss her more than words can describe.

We have the howling hour (which is more like a few minutes). Initially it was with my 6 dogs that I had. Snickers my beloved 2 toned copper colored Husky taught my other 5 dogs how to howl despite several of them not being breeds that normally howl. When I moved in with my boyfriend, 2 of my babies had died so we had 8 dogs in total. We took in another dog who was literally thrown out of a truck and rescued her and sadly my Husky Snickers died at age 18. So we still have the howling hour. It helps the dogs be a cohesive group, relieves stress and just makes them feel good! And they love that I howl with them.
I have a little mixed breed dog and every meal when I finish eating I feed her off my plate with a fork. Then she puts her paw on my chin to open my mouth to see if I have any food left for her I have had her since I watched her mommy give birth to her and she thinks she's a human not a dog. She's my baby girl.But then all my dogs are my children . Each of them have their own personality just like humans. Only better.
Whoa, you do NOT bark at a sleeping dog. When they quite reasonably bite you the dog gets blamed. NOT their fault. Whenever I hear of a dog biting or attacking I always think "Yeah what were THEY doing to the dog?" 🥴🥴

But it would have to be smart enough to help me at times......, as I have a major disability....., so we would have to become good buddies......, and, I would have to have caring people help with caring for the animal for me, along with excellent training (in love and sturness .....with much gentleness, of course.......I really do love this breed..., because of their mild temperance......BUT ESPECIALLY their fur is perfect for people who are allergic.

Some are funny and cute. However some are cruel and others encourage bad habits that will get worse. Some of you stop treating your dogs like toys just for your personal amusement and videos.
TIP: TOILET PAPER, SLIPPERS, etc.. Make your dog sit in front of it and when it moves put the dog back again and keep it up especially when it gets bored. Keep it up for hours and you can go into another room and go about your business, but when you dog comes to see what you are doing bring him or her back in front of the mess, you need to keep it up for a couple of hours and I am99% sure he or she will never do that again.😊
