Thanks for the kinds words, Josh! Seriously. I'd love to do a weekly schedule, but it's tough to manage with my 'real' job. In any case, I'll endeavor to do them as frequently as I'm able. :)
I'm using the classic 4 and have used the tic watch pro 3... The hardware on gs4 is much higher quality... But the battery/software is higher on TCPro3. But wear os 2/3 has way too many bugs.
Yeah I think that's a fair statement. I guess my personal preference is more for the information queries than voice control, for the most part. But I might warm up to the voice control options eventually.

I got the TicWatch E3 because that's what was paired with the SmartDrive I bought for my new wheelchair, so far it does exactly what I need it to do, so, I can't complain.
You can connect both watches to their own wearable apps. They are actually running independent. The galaxy watch 4 is connecting with the Wearable app. And ticwatch the Google Wear OS. Big difference in term of experience. Galaxy watch is just like running Tizen with the ability to download more apps from plays store. And E3 is running 100% Wear OS 2.3 which is still lag and have problems with Google assistant. Personally, I prefer this new galaxy hook up with Google. Everything is running much smoother than previous generation galaxy watches. For the price of $275. It's no brainer to pick the galaxy watch 4 , 44mm with the free wireless charger.
Yeah I think we're mostly in agreement. No question the Galaxy Watch 4 is the superior piece of tech. But I'll still say that (especially since the TicWatch E3 will get the Wear OS update in 2022) the E3 is still a lot of watch for the price. And even though it still ships with Wear OS 2.3, I found it to be a reliably smooth performer and would be a good option for someone who would rather not spend the extra $100 for the GW4.
@@akshay5569 I think the battery life on the the GW4 is slightly better than on the E3, but the difference is not really significant, in my opinion. The Bixby assistant is still what you have to use on the GW4 (doesn't yet have Google Assistant), and Bixby does reply audibly in most queries, much the same was Google Assistant does - only Google does offer more functionality overall than Bixby. The E3 will get Wear OS 4 sometime in 2022, according to Mobvoi, but no official release date has been announced for that that I'm aware of.

@@akshay5569 Don’t rule out the GW g1 for a battery life of 4-5 days. It’s a bit bulky but will definitely last over a year. Otherwise get the slimmer GW3 as it has the rotating bezel too. Tizen doesn’t require much tinkering. GW3 ~ $140.00 used. Get it sold by Amazon Warehouse.
I don't believe the extremely tiny weight difference really make a difference. What however means a whole lot of difference is size and fit and that looks better on the Samsung.
Yeah, I'd agree. The thinner profile and more rounded sensor panel make the Samsung GW4 just a bit more comfortable. The couple of grams saved is just a bonus.

Your battery life results are NOT typical with anything CLOSE to moderate use. It's with almost NO use whatsoever. Why would I say this? Because you claim 3.5 days of battery life which is longer than even Samsung claims. Same with the TicWatch - which I believe has a marginally larger battery. 3 days is only possible with little to no real-world use. Again, that is what Mobvoi says about their own product. Maybe your definition of lite- to-moderate use is way different than the norm...? Either way, I really enjoyed your in-depth review.
