This is exactly how I camp at Reno 😊 the first time I came with my wife , we camped in our car it wasn't so bad we were ready , it was definitely something to remember now plan on attending at their new location next year , this year I may attend the air show.

A lot of times I have to go to a museum to see cool planes like that. It's awesome to see people that own those planes still fly them out to shows for people like us to enjoy😊
The cockpit of DevilGirl is a work of art. Love the flaps lever with the motorcycle throttle on it but wouldn't it be tiring for long flights or it doesn't come back to 0 on its own ?
I predict it will be in Wendover, Nevada (perfect terrain & geography, weather and airport runway facilities) but starting again in 2025. They are skipping 2024, 2025 is the next event, new location. Wendover is in the running.

For 29 years I camped in the lot to your right at the start of this video. I’ve seen a lot there, marriages, divorces, crashes but overall some incredible aircraft. I was not able to attend what would have been my 30th and final year this year. And I’m fine with that as I would not have wanted to witness another crash. The races will continue…somewhere. They must.
well that was my first thing when I saw competition stol, why flaps and gas is different places. Then my next idea is that why flaps don't go to negative, like cross the stol line and push the plane down by changing flaps negative, a similar to passenger jets use spoilers but implement that with flap surface and this single lever. Or is it prohibited in stol competition rules?
I thought of it awhile back. I was going to put it in my Scratch build and still will. I actually thought Mike Patey was going to think of it and put it in Scrappy. I would assume it'll be the standard for competition and bush planes in the future. It's nice to see it works so well!

she wouldn't keep the headset on that we got, so we just covered her ears with our hands and we would stand as far back as we could when loud planes were racing.
