My trick for the cloud paint is to leave the seal and poke a tiny hole with a needle through it so less product comes out and it’s just the perfect way to not waste product/make a mess
When I saw this video I was so ecstatic! In part 1 you said that you’re debating the face mask duo, and I’ve picked them up and I honestly really like them. They’re obviously not going to be the peak of skincare, but they’re a really fun experience and both feel really lovely on the skin (I have dry skin everywhere but my forehead and nose which is normal-slightly oily). I used to be a glossier addict so I really wanted to share my opinions on some of these products (I’ve jumped ship to rare beauty now tbh). I didn’t enjoy boy brow (the brown flecks were annoying me, the colour in brown was always a little dark for my light brown hair, and the staying power was minimal for me). The stretch concealer is holy grail, I genuinely use it as concealer for no makeup days because it’s so hydrating. The skin tint can be nice but is super overpriced for what it is. I love the haloscope for the natural glow, but it can move my blush and create like a patchiness throughout the day (I’ve nearly finished it though so I do like it). I haven’t tried the sky wash, but like you I think the rare beauty liquid eyeshadows are incredible and will be repurchasing forever! I used to have the cloud paint in both puff and beam, (I finished puff so now only beam) but even tho I found it really natural and pretty, the staying power was terrible, and the packaging kills me inside. I prefer the rare beauty ones on pretty much every account. Hated the brow flick and eyeliner, both were terrible quality (may have been a bad batch) and there was virtually no pigment. I adore all their lip products, and for some reason I really enjoy lash slick even though my lashes are abysmal. it dries out really fast though, and other mascaras do enhance my lashes better. The lidstar in Moon really annoyed me to be honest, because unless you use it as a faint topper it basically has no pigment. I used to hate solar paint because it was so patchy at first, but for some reason when I tried it a few months later it started to work (though the rare beauty one is my preferred). Generally, I think rare beauty is outdoing Glossier on a lot of accounts but some of their products are still really stellar!
Love this comment!! Thank you so much for sharing your opinions. I think it’s so valuable ☺️ Wow I’ve only tried 3 things from rare beauty but I feel like I must go grab some stuff now! My issue with rare beauty was the minimal color selection but I haven’t checked them out in a while. Thank you again for commenting and watching love! 💖
Yes its definitley worth it in my opinion. The products are really good and qualitative and the packaging of glossier looks also really pretty. Its a very good makeup line in my opinion
There have been others who have said that they also use the stretch concealer as a foundation. If they came out with a much bigger jar and rename it as stretch concealer/foundation it would rival the Jones Road foundation that's been hyped up lately, and would be preferred by many more people cause the stretch concealer (though I don't love it as an oily girl) is more useable by people who lean oilier than that Jones Road foundation which is an oily mess.
loving these glossier review vids!! i have a lot of opinions bc i own q a few of these products hahaha i completely agree with your opinion on the skin tint (it enhances my oiliness), haloscope (interesting product but i don't think it works as well as they thought it would), cloud paint, and generation g in cake. love the boy brow formulation, but it's really so tiny for the price 😭 the lash slick is actually my favourite mascara bc the application is really perfect and fuss-free -- all the other mascaras i've used are super clumpy and i have to remove some product from the wand. that being said, i do have naturally long eyelashes (by east asian standards), so i think you're right in that the product doesn't do anything dramatic and leans more towards enhancing your natural lashes will defo try the stretch concealer as a foundation!! i never ever reach for it so hopefully i'll get more use out of it. thank you for the idea!! :-)
Thank you so much for this video! Really helped, I'm saving for quite a few of glossier products and because of this video it’s helped me to rethink some of the products I’ve added to my basket x
Hurray for being subscribed and being one of the first few to view and comment! Glossier doesn't ship to my country and so im taking full advantage of my holiday trip to the US to mass buy as many products as I am interested to try (with the link). Looking forward to the next video!
thanks for this review! :) I was actually planning on making a purchase but waiting for this video first haha. definitely going to grab more lidstars and try out the ultralips!
Thank you so much for the super helpful video! Going to grab those ultra lips right now! I was also wondering what kind of lip gloss and mascara is your favorite (going to check out thrive). I also try to avoid sticky gloss (dog mom probs) and I have straighter eyelashes as well! Thank you again!
Thank you for watching, Sydney! My favorite “lip gloss” is the morphe Cherry Coke lip glaze. I love the thrive mascara, definitely my fav tubing mascara. My favorite non-tubing mascara is the waterproof maybelline lash sensational mascara (but it’s super annoying to remove at the end of the day)!
I haven’t found a holy grail but I’ve been using the physician’s formula eye booster water proof liquid liner for the last couple months! It’s pretty good but does smudge if I’m very oily that day
Hey :), I've been doing makeup now for about maybe two years and I'd say I gotten the hang of it and I could do it pretty well (Considering I'm almost 14) I was wondering about two products The glossier stretch concealer and the Lash slick. For the stretch concealer I like a natural look For concealer I usually reach for the Maybelline instant age eraser concealer and I like how natural the finish is :), I was wondering If you think I would like it as a concealer. And for the lash slick Like I've said I like natural makeup and for mascara I like natural and dramatic ( I like cover girl mascara and I also like telescopic) I would say I have pretty decently long eyelashes do you think the mascara would work? - thank you so much Have a great rest of your day
Hey Justice! I think the stretch concealer looks even more natural/less patchy than the instant age rewind. Could be worth trying! As for the mascara, you may find success with it! I know some people who have fairly long lashes and absolutely love it.
I haven't tried any Glossier products. I'm happy participating for the glossier gift card love. I'm looking forward to try their cloud paint. _makeuplover_x0_ 💜❤️💙 CA here

Really really hoping Glossier gets the hint to bring back fig
Right!?
When I use the glosses my own hair always gets on the way and sticks to the gloss😭 it’s so annoyin
I feel the same way!
13:47 I've heard other people say this... Am I the only one who applies it directly on the lips and then rubs them together?
I do that sometimes!
