I love Glossier, and I'm someone who used to wear Estee Lauder Double Wear in high school. I think the trick to wearing brands like Glossier is realizing that skin has imperfections. If a spot peaks through, nobody is going to care because your skin is going to be healthy looking overall. That's what matters.
For sure. I find it more attractive to see blemishes through a natural beat rather than a full beat. If you can see spots through a full face it's almost like oh they're so bad you can still see them. With skin tint it's like whatever 🤷♂️

I do my own nails, too. I use polygel, but I use nail tips instead of the forms that it comes with. They last me about three weeks before I need a fill, then I just do a fill like with acrylics. It’s super easy and a lot less damaging to my nails!

I’m a quality auditor at a cosmetic packaging company and we make some of the packaging for Good lossier! We make the whole assembly for the “Boy Brow”! We mold the bottle, then print onto the bottle, lastly we put a wiper in the bottle(the part at the top that wipes the excess makeup off). We also mold the rod, then our brush room makes the brush and a machine welds the brush into the rod and then at a whole other matching we assemble the rod/brush into the cap. Then they come out back to me for inspection and out the door they go! Before I moved up to quality I almost always ran the machine that assembled the final cap process. I’m sure nobody cares but I love seeing our packaging in videos and had to comment🙂

Sadia Begum use BHA's (I recommend a salicylic chemical exfoliant), vitamin C serum, and retinol (don't use retinol and vitamin c at the same time bc retinol cancels out vitamin c, use one at night and one in the morning or one, one day and the next, the next day)
@@sadiabegum1099 im 23 so i have fairly young skin that went thru puberty so i don't use strong active ingredients yet. I'd reccomend salicylic acid for active pimples, niacinamide and vitamin c for scarring and texture and making sure your skin is well moisturized and spf-ed!

I work in a medical lab where most of us don’t wear makeup at all, so I wouldn’t feel right wearing a full beat in that environment, glossier just gives me a healthy look that still leaves me feeling like I’ve made an effort in the morning ☺️

i use the bourjois healthy mix serum which is literally perfect, half a pump gives the glossier coverage and one full pump gives slightly more coverage and it wears so so well. so inexpensive too
If you like glossier skin-tint you might also like the Ordinary's serum foundation! It's just over a fiver and it's BOMB. There's a tiny bit more coverage than the glossier foundation, but I still think it looks super skin-like and it feels really nice on the skin!

I found that full coverage usually just makes your skin problems pop out more because,obviously some makeup gurus refuse to acknowledge that makeup doesn’t look the same in camera vs real life so I guess that’s why we are fooled into thinking that full makeup coverage always looks good.

from my experience the skywash in terra is seamless when you apply it the same way as the cloud paints with a larger fluffy shadow brush

I've found the cloud paints come out loads if you press from the bottom but from the middle you can manage to get just a little!!

The ‘ glossier ‘ look is achievable easily with normal products. It is so easy to sheer out and apply colour cosmetics lightly.
I will never understand why people get so mad at glossier. I’ll hear people say it’s a scam, that it’s makeup for people who already have perfect skin. I don’t have perfect skin by any means, but glossier skin tint and stretch concealer are my perfect complexion products as someone who doesn’t like really any coverage
