    Great video again mate always good to have safety information out their. Just a quick note perhaps I’m the only person who didn’t realise this but last weekend went out on the bikes and we got speaking to a very friendly traffic warden 😂 down in Lyme Regis. He said if your paying for a ticket as there was no more motorcycle parking you only pay for the bay. So you can put as many bikes in the bay as you like. In the past we have payed for each bike. All the best keep the videos coming 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

      I never knew that rodders. Good to know. I haven't needed to ever pay for bike parking yet, all the ncp here are free and most other car parks. Different in tourist locations I guess... I'll find that out this summer. Good info thanks.

      Oh well, I always appreciate getting a taste of the sights and sounds of different places. In fact, I love learning just a bit of local history as well. Probably those who don’t appreciate it are those who experience the area every day. Truth be told, I’m also interested because quite some years ago I spent 3 months touring England and Wales on a bicycle. I remember bits of Exeter quite well!

    Great video, we love Exeter and really enjoy walking around the Harbour and the sites, keep planning to visit the catacombs but never made the time. Will definitely get down there once lockdown ends and they reopen 👍

    I would have thought that NCP should be responsible for maintaining the road surface for the general public - at the very least there should be a regularly reviewed Risk Assessment.
    Right, H and S hat off now..............good to point that out as it would be very easy to get caught out by that.

    I wouldn’t buy a road bike without ABS but TC I could easily live without. My NC has TC and I’m quite sure that in the situation you experienced my wrist would respond quicker than the TC. It could be the case that there’s something wrong with the TC on my bike or that the TC on bikes such as the NC just isn’t that great.

    • @exeterrider
      @exeterrider  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I've found TC on most bikes cut in before you even know our feel or spinning of dry to the most sensitive mode. It definitely would have helped me in this case. I don't have TC my 2017. 👍🍻

    Lots of comments on nylon tyres. It’s the Chinese tyres that are now getting the stick and rightly so. I remember when the Japanese bikes first appeared in the UK and the stock tyres were quickly designated as ‘suicide tyres’. The first thing a Japanese bike owner did was to change them. However, look at Bridgestone who now produce some of the finest tyres in the world.

    • @exeterrider

      Yeap, I'm surprised things are not tougher from Brussels on the tire front. Nothing more important than decent boots👢👍

      @@exeterrider It's the same old story - you get what you pay for. Any motorcyclist worth his salt would not put budget tyres on a bike irrespective of aids like ABS and traction control.

    I want to pick your brains please as I’m bit of a numpty when it comes to technology, think you might be able to help. I’m going to buy one of those Drift Ghost XL helmet camera and need an SD card. For normal use, say just have 3 to 6 hours on the bike would a comparable 64gb Sandisk SD be enough to store this amount of re riding in HD? Cheers.

    Pffft...traction control. No such thing back in the day 🤪
    Also, abs. Nothing ruins a good skid more than abs 🤷🏻‍♂️
