No, no, no. A stay at home spouse is a job title. You take care of the kids, you make the meals, you do the majority of the heavy lifting at home. It's a full time job. What your wife did, how do I put this delicately, was a parasite. I did the stay at home thing for two years while getting a degree. My spouse brought home the bacon. I did at least 70% of the chores, and most of the child care. Once the lil' one was at school, I'd go to school myself. Now that I work full time I'm lucky if I can manage 50% of the chores. If this story is true, this man was both parents. The wife was an overpaid baby sitter at best, barely looking after her own kids. Making the lunches, making the diner, helping with homework, ect. Man was doing 80% of the parenting and adulting. That's too much.
The wife is disgusting, but Karma will get her in the end. I'm hoping that she'll realise that a 36 year old on OF won't be desired or earning as much as what she would want, and with no help from her family or ex-husband, she'll live a devastating life. I hope OP pulls through, and continues to be a great father and live a good life.
