normally you would work in your team with a QS who will direct you in the costing of the project and then the rate will differ from place to place and other costs related to the build. e.g. you might be building in a remote area and your indirect cost could be travel of material and labor as an example. However at the time of doing this video one would pay for standard finishing +/-r6000 per m2.

How long did it take you to charge the zoning from commercial to Res, and were there ajy challenges?
Rezoning generally takes +/- a year in a good council and good town planner. This process took 8 months

How do you determine if the contractor is over changing
You can shop around.
The banks also gives an indication of build per m2 but it also depends what you are aiming to have as a finished product
