The greatest high school marching band in the world and the most popular (with almost a billion views and counting). It's been an honor to be able to watch them on stage and street parades since 2010. To watch them in person and feel their electrifying presence is purely awesome. They are so energetic. The loading that day must be heavier than a 90 min football game. And yet, those girls smiled all the way. No backup team whatsoever. They are strong and professional.
Well... they're japanese, so... basically factory made to precise specifications and raised with harsh discipline. What you're seeing are not smiles and waving, they're mechanically pre-programmed muscle movements. Probably 99% of the band members aren't even having fun. They just do it because it's expected.
They are just 15-18 year old kids. I guess you don’t know young Japanese people. I don’t think their parents raising them with harsh discipline, but love and more encouragement. But the generations are taught to be more independent and responsible. I still appreciate the band's smiles and greeting waiving. They are out of good will. I cherish it. Try to have more understanding in cultural diversity. Above all, more positive thinking. I feel sorry that you look at the young kids that way. Not decent at all.

And if they're not happy in it, they can just leave - Why would you want to join or stay on a club if it's no fun at all? Like I said it's a high school club - it is run and managed by the students themselves - meaning they choose the music, they choose the dance and choreography, they choose precision, they choose discipline, they choose smiling and waving, they choose all the movements, they choose to be there because they LOVE to be there - not because they are forced to or because it's expected of them, it's because they WANT to. And after watching countless of videos they have here, I can say without a doubt that their smiles are genuine and all of them are having fun and are proud to be part of this club.
I have been following this Sr High School band for about 5 years now, I have seen members come & go................. They are in my opinion the very best H.S. band in the world today.
Not only do we get to watch this great High School Band, but we also get to see some of the beautiful City, their streets, their nice buildings, and a-lot of the fine Japanese people, most of us will never have the opportunity to visit these places, I'm really thankful for these great videos.~USA

She is the percussion Section Leader. She holds the rare distinction of being the Section Leader in both her 2nd and 3rd years. Section Leaders are generally only 3rd years. However, she became Section Leader in her 2nd year because there were no 3rd year percussionists in 2016, the time of this parade. As a Section Leader, she was also a member of the Marching Composition Staff, responsible for music arrangement and choreography. She currently performs with "O-vils," a group comprised of KT SHS alumni.
Some of Those girls must have been graduated from universities or serving in society now! Appreciate their passing down such great traditions and skills to the new girls today!😊❤
This parade occurred November 2016 and included members of the 113th (2016 grad), 114th (2017 grad), and 115th (2018 grad). The majority have completed university by now and are working professionals. Fan favorites Chippi (brown xylophone) and Comare (snare drum, just in front of Chippi) are members of the musical group O-Vils, founded by percussionist Yuina Mita (107th class). O-Vils is mainly comprised of KT SHS alumnae from various classes.
Thank you so much to these wonderful children for their amazing performance. But I get the feeling that there is a wonderful music teacher behind such amazingly great performances, so I would like to say a huge thank you to whoever that may be, bless you.
Tachibana must have wonderful teachers to achieve such a brilliant show! The band is almost 100% student-led. Committees made up from band members select the music for their setlists and design the corresponding dance choreography. They do have teachers advising them, as well as part-time coaches who assist them in various fields, but most of the time the band members work just by themselves, senpai (older students) teaching kōhai (younger students).to achieve such a brilliant show!
These kids are amazing, their musicality is great but their synchronising of their moves is wonderful to watch. It is lovely to see young kids having fun and still being entertaining at the same time. I

跳ぶ時マウスピースが唇にガンってぶつからないのが凄いよね。安定感すごすぎ。練習の賜物なんだろうな。おばさん泣けちゃう

吹奏楽の演奏に感動、元気と勇気を頂きました。まご娘もまーチンぐ２０００人のマーチングに１１月４日.出雲ドームに出ました。まさにブラボーでした。ヤングマンになりました、大会関係者に感謝もうし上げます。おかげまで喜寿から還暦になりました上田一利です、階段も一段飛ばしで上がれると思います。

七十の爺さんです。二十代に管楽器を少し吹いて居ましたが。動画に刺激されて久し振りに吹いてみて、少しだけ音が戻りましたが、
歩きながら遣って見ましたが、途端に歯にガツンとピースが当たり、唇がピースと歯に強く挟まり、歯と唇が痛く成ってすぐ止めました！。視てる程簡単では無いのが解りました。
物凄い訓練の賜物で有る事が実感出来ました！。
厳しい練習動画等を上げて頂けばうれしいです。

感覺這一群年紀好像比較小，好像是高一或高二的學生？表演的同樣很棒！

3年生は9月から開催されるマーチングコンテスト京都大会、関西大会、全国大会、いずれかの結果発表後に任期終了です。10月開催の映像のガラシャ祭りは1年2年だけです。新ドラムメジャーが指揮します。今年は関西大会で金賞なので11月の全国大会終了まで同じメンバー

18年ローズの一年以上前にすでに3キロ1時間のパレード 演目の骨格やスタミナはもう出来上がってますね
追加の主要曲はハッピー､ハワイファイブオーくらい 114期の代表曲マンボジャンボは翌年奈良のムジークプラッツで披露しました 振り付けも含め軒並み大当たりでした
